I get it but grandparents caring for kids after school is very common. Finding an alternate place is harder than most realize. We had to do it a few weeks ago when this all started and were shocked. Thankfully it's a small townI know this but it doesn't negate my post. We can't keep schools closed or the economy hostage over some people being inconvenienced.

Its straight up common sense. People in San Fran stayed inside, New Yorkers didnt. They thought that not going to work meant "hey lets go hang out in the parks together" or "lets go watch the emergency hospital ship sail in and take selfies yaaaay".Meh, not buying that.
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said too many New Yorkers are not taking the rule as seriously as they should.
The Democrats wanted it in there? Uh huh. Well, here is the REPUBLICAN administration taking credit for it. And it passed the GOP controlled Senate.
