No this is lazy. You are saying that I said delivering food is more dangerous than her walking through a store. Point to where I even implied such a thing.

A 50 and under plan wouldn’t work well because too many people would be carriers. More carriers means more chances for everyone to get infected, period. We are all connected and your mother is no exception. As we’ve structured it now, you can still leave your house if you really need and be relatively safe. The scenario you describe means your mom is a goner if she develops a toothache.

You say I can’t fathom it and then you bring a personal example of why it would work seems to be a relatively healthy, independent woman with her own home and a supportive family around to help out. Gee. Sounds like a worst case scenario. Try some of that fathoming yourself.

Maybe you could share another personal anecdote. Those are really strong evidence. Do you have a really capable uncle that would just crush it during quarantine?

Not that it’s a comparable profession (they actually help people) but it’s no more a balancing act than a doctor taking care of him/herself while making a living treating a lot of conditions that are the result of not taking care of yourself. In other words, when you see the other side of it you adjust how you live your life.

We actually don’t even use those functions but have access to it. We are actually just buying it for the tracking of crude oil and product inventories by satellite (eclipses from the shadows on the roof of floating roof tanks change shape as the roof raises and lowers indicating volume).

I said that because I doubt you turning off your location function actually does anything... other than gives the user a false sense of security. Kind of like that button at the corner/intersection that says "press button to cross".
