Pretty good.

Still sweat during the night, headache is virtually gone... from an 8 on Sunday and Monday, a 3 yesterday and probably just a level 1 today.

Biggest issue is just physical tiredness. If I don’t physically WANT to workout, things aren’t good... and I’m not there yet. Mentally I want to, but physically I have no desire

This won't survive scientific scrutiny, but this is what I was observing re mitigation efforts. Tennessee's graph was pretty clear. It wasn't as clear as this other places, but the trends were still there. After about 6 days of major changes in mitigation policies, the log trend line changed. I saw similar changes in every major outbreak area I checked (New York, Italy, Germany, Spain, etc), and there was always a change in log graph slope about 6 days after schools were closed.

Data was pretty noisy early on, due to smaller sample sizes and poor test availability, but tended to get more stable over time.

I've also read that NY is so overwhelmed with patients, they are probably only testing 1 out of 10 with symptoms. Basically, if you aren't sick enough to go to the hospital, you aren't getting tested there. So, yes they are missing some deaths. But they are missing many more illnesses.

The reason is that anyone with anything is either called a covid death if they test positive, or in many other cases, they are assumed as covid deaths even if they aren’t tested. We don’t know how many have died but the rate seems very very low.

Pneumonia rates are not down. Only pneumonia associated with influenza are down. Pneumonia rates are up:

"While the percent of all deaths due to P&I has increased during weeks 9-12 (7.4-8.2%), the percent of all deaths with Influenza listed as a cause have decreased (from 1.0% to 0.8%) over this same time period. The increase in pneumonia deaths during this time period are likely associated with COVID-19 rather than influenza."

So Jg’s rogue mess was much more than just at Bama. I know we’ve talked about that, but he did it against Chattanooga also. AP told the story on the podcast today. On the first play of the game, it was a scripted play that they had ran 50 times the week of practice. They knew that was the first play. The ball is supposed to go to JJ. Callaway running the go route is the decoy. All week long they practiced it and in the game, Jg decides to throw it to Callaway and, of course, it’s nearly intercepted. Had it been against anyone but Chattanooga, it would’ve been. We have got to play someone else

praying to god one of them--any of them, i don't care at this point-- get the playbook year two bump, or HB comes in setting the world on fire. something HAS to happen.

I had rewatched the Gator Bowl game a couple weeks ago. Was mad all over again. First thing I had told friends was that we can not go thru another year of Guarantano at QB. He just doesn't have it at this level to be consistent enough to be what we need to win. I see it in his eyes when the camera go close up on him. I played football at a high level until an injury cut my playing days short. The eyes don't lie.

One thing I’ve learned on this board is that facts are not welcome.

@Bassmaster_Vol made his comments on this topic (which sounds eerily familiar to the exact same thing Tucker Carlson and Brit Hume said) based on the real numbers. Right, Bass?
