Yes I am. Why aren’t you? If you get it and stick a gun in your mouth and off yourself there is no evidence they are calling it a Covid death. Again, yes they do chalk it up to Covid if you have stage 4 cancer and this is what takes you out. As they should.

I dare say that if someone is known to have CV-19 and is being hospitalized or arrives at the ER and dies, that's about the extent of being counted as a virus death. Maybe an odd case of someone dying in their home and being found later to have been infected would add to the rolls. Speculating further than that just seems to be assuming too much.

Unfortunately, i think those that recover after being vented are going to have resp and cardiac issues. Lung scarring will be long lasting.

Seeing alot of disinformation out there about Plaquenil or hydroxychloroquine
1) The drug is off patent and has been for years. There are at least 8 different companies that make it so it doesn't line the pockets of Novartis
2) Novartis isn't even selling the drug, they are uping production and donating it to help fight the pandemic.
3) Drs don't need to have FDA approval to use a drug off label. They are free to do so and about 20% of all RXs are written this way.
4) 6k international Drs recently voluntarily answered a survey and hydroxychloroquine was the clear first choice in covid treatment for the critically ill patients.
5) It seems terribly ironic that the same people who said medical decisions should be between a patient and a Dr seem to not want the same for coronavirus patients.

And for every Biden gaffe, we have Trump talking about airports during the Revolutionary War and not knowing the difference between Great Britain and England and referring to Prince Charles as "The Prince of Whales" on Twitter.

What do you think the death rate is for Americans? 400,000 people have CV19.

US mortality rate is about 850 deaths / 100000 of population per year.

So, that is 16 deaths per week per 100,000 population.

I’m going to ignore time lag to death and just take current cases and current deaths.

Let’s take our current population of CV19 patients of 400,000. Of that random group accounting for normal mortality rates, we would expect 64 to die per week. We’ve been at this for about 5 weeks with deaths occurring. So, that’s 320 deaths. Compare that to 12,500. It’s 3%.

So can we please use our heads and drop this argument?

This is how deaths of are catalogued for epidemics. Same way for flu. It’s small error when you have a large enough death rate.

If 100 people a day are dying of this at home in NY vs 1000 official deaths then there is clearly more upside error.

(I’ll also add that I think this 320 number is conservatively high besides the issue with lag between cases and death because the highest mortality rates in general are among the elderly - who are also the most likely by far to end up in the 12500 deaths number because of COVID-19. So if you break down the 400,000 down by age and then compare to their COVID mortality I bet it would appear to be an even lower impact on the numbers)

It happens on here all day everyday and is very entertaining. The length these people will go to.defend this man is amazing. He is an awful human being and they know it, but they defend him anyway. It's really sad actually.

So we know murders exist but we don’t know who so I guess we should assume everyone is a murderer and act accordingly, right? That includes friends, family, co-workers, medical personnel, everyone, since we don’t know which ones are murderers/infected.
