Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

how many lives did he save? Because as of 9 this morning, there are 9,654 people that have died. The banning international travel was a good move.....what followed was a clusterf**k.
Italy has locked down. And they are dying too. Trump's fault?

Maybe if half the politicians in this country weren't screaming racist for the first two months something could have happened.

Dr Fauci is on record as late as 2/19/20 in saying that America is not at risk of Covid 19. Stop trying to convince yourself that this virus and not people's every day lives are the cause for widespread cases of Covid 19. That and the Communist government if China
again, no fault is levied at donald. the right crucified President Obama for the 12469 people that died as a cause of H1N1. That number is about to be shattered by donald, and the right wants to say it ain't his fault.

Perhaps, after consultation with my physician. If he had more than anecdotal evidence of its efficacy and that his evidence based approach to off label prescribing had a higher likelihood of good effects versus bad.

Let me give you the more accurate scene with you and your doc.

You, sitting still and sucking wind - "doc please give me some of that shtt".

Doc - "ok"

we're not talking about Italy....we are talking about the US response. Don't throw your back out moving those goalposts.

The hospitals are used to those with psych issues

To be perfectly honest , I couldn’t give a rats ass if the trans or non-binary people are coping or not with this thing . They will find a way to “ cope “ like the rest of the world is or they won’t . It doesn’t even cause a blip on my priorities list .

The ones screaming racism were ending their rants with "go about your daily lives"

That’s exactly how it would go down with me . Except my question ( if I had the air to get it out ) would be can this help keep me off a vent .

Less access to healthcare. Tighter living arrangements. Less economic resources to self-isolate. Need to use public transportation. Prevalence in jobs that are not working remotely.
They must be working while they are standing around on street corners.

That has to be a joke. It has been around as long as I have . That may be anecdotal.

Edit: Didn't some actor come out and say he got mouth cancer from oral sex with his wife? Who was that? It was a few years ago.

My tracking of actual daily new COVID-19 cases in U.S. and projections.
4/1 = 26,473 (26,550 Predicted)
4/2 = 29,874 (30,330)
4/3 = 32,284 (32,540)
4/4 = 34,196 (36,190)
4/5 = 25,316 (38,270)

Median Predicted New Case Numbers Next 5 Days - Rate of increase continues to slow
4/6 40,820
4/7 44,150
4/8 46,790
4/9 49,360
4/10 51,560

Current Predicted peak Daily New Cases

4/14 56,120 Top of the curve is very flat now, so the highest number of daily cases could be any time between 4/11 and 4/18.

Yesterday's number is probably the reporting lag and variation in testing we have been seeing. However, California did work through a backlog of tests earlier in the week which may have skewed the data in another direction.

Therefore, the next few days will be very interesting. Maybe we hit the peak sooner rather than later, and at a lower number.

What I am expecting is a bumpy plateau in the data when we are at the peak rather that a smooth curve. If we plateau around 45,000 instead of the 65,000 we've been headed to, that would be great.

Our testing problem was largely at the beginning, and that is the main thing we will need to fix if a pandemic occurs again.

To put it in perspective, Singapore has tested 6.8 out of every 1,000 citizens, and they have been largely praised for their testing because they did it on the front end.

The USA will surpass that, and we have tested 5.4 out of every 1,000 citizens to date, but testing after the virus has a foothold is less useful than early and aggressive testing.

so it is China's fault that donald drug his feet for 7 weeks? Germany didn't have a response problem. South Korea didn't have a response problem. They had the same if not less information than we had. Why is donald given a pass? Why is it everyone else's fault?

So population of Germany and South Korea is 130 millionish combined. The US is over 350 million South Korea is basically the size of New York. Your argument is terrible.

And white people experience none of these problems? That's just dumb. Racism is not the reason for everything, though it is the most common reason pushed by the left. Doesn't matter if it's true. Imagine if we actually attacked problems rather than just saying "racism", and acting like that explained it all.

when I was about 1 I had viral meningitis. I was allergic to the only medicine, one ingredient at least, approved for infants. For one reason or another I ended being given a medicine that had never been approved to treat viral mengitis for young children.

This type of stuff definitely happens in life saving situations.

Cant believe people are arguing against the right to try.
They wouldn't be if Trump hadn't suggested it.

I also like how LG or one of the other hyper reactive was screeching about Trump saying he wasn't going to wear a mask. Are other world leaders masking up? Any of the administration during the press conferences? How about the reporters?

What is wrong with me? You make a claim of Trump saying something and given your terrible record on comprehension, its necessary for you to link it.

You're honestly arguing that people illegally obtaining prescription drugs is a reason to blame Trump? Are you slow? You're so deep in your anti trump BS that any neuron that was associated with rationale has just turned off.

He said it. Go look it up. Its everywhere.

I'm not blaming Trump for per se causing someone to take the drug when they should not. Its more his infuriating arrogance to think he knows better than the medical professionals and scientists due to his "common sense." Which is hilarious given that his business record shows that his instincts ultimately prove to be just horrible.
