The US has 11 Carriers. They are the premier fighting machine in all of the military, in all of the world actually. As CiC if he hasn't read the files on every one of the Captions he is negligent in his duty as President. But we are talking Trump here. BTW he does have to be the one who recommends to Congress the promotions of an officer to Flag or General rank. After Crozier's tour as Captian of the Roosevelt he probably would have been in line to receive his star.

The fact that no previous administration was any better prepared for a 100-year or perhaps 500-year pandemic, seems to be overlooked by the “get Trump at any cost” crowd.

I was in Walmart the other day......I couldn't wait to get my stuff & go home. They had one place for everyone to enter & exit of which I didn't know about. What I needed was.....you guessed it ...... at the other far end of the store of where I came in. I needed the exercise & all but damn. It seemed like I walked 10 miles to get something.

It’s not a new thing wrt trade and where things are manufactured. We need to seriously reconsider our supply chain, though. It is absurd we don’t have stockpiles of basic needs for an outbreak.

How about this for policy...next time we get even so much as a whiff of a virus getting cranked up in China or (insert country here), we shut down travel between the US and said country immediately. Any Chinese/other country nationals coming in from other satellite locations (circumventing travel restrictions) or have been in the US for less than 20 days are immediately expelled/returned. Hey people, you want action, you want to avoid a repeat of this s*** show, gotta do it, unless you’re only goal is looking to blame a president for a pandemic.

What does being in charge of pandemic response mean? What does he actually do? He seems well educated and the president trusts him so that’s good enough for me.... if he screws it up then it is on trump.

Kushner is a joke of a man. Born rich and married rich. He nearly went bankrupt in real estate. ruined a NYC weekly newspaper and was a failure as a diplomat. I wouldn't let him cut my lawn.

He and Don Jr. are the very embodiment of what most Trumpers profess to despise.....elitist, left coast, metropolitan, beta, soy boys (whatever the hell that's supposed to mean) It actually describes Trump also.
