Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Well, I suggest posting in the voter fraud thread, if you haven't already, but when you say historically, do you mean confirmed or just the accusations? What's happening now in primarily Republican states, is the purging of voter rolls while increasing the burden to reregister. Sure, some will say it's just to ensure the integrity, but it actually just makes it harder to vote, and more often targets the areas that they would rather the turnout be low. It's unAmerican if you ask me.
I'm curious - why do you think that Georgia's "use it or lose it" decision would disproportionately affect Democrats? Is there evidence that Dems statistically vote less often than Republicans?

This absolutely infuriates me. Get out of my ****ing phone!!!
"In his statement, Lee said his administration analyzed cell phone data and traffic patterns to reach the conclusion such a mandate was necessary. The administration said data indicated while there was a steep drop off in vehicle movement between March 13 and March 29, recently, travel has trended upward."
Welcome to big brother!

I had shared articles earlier in this thread about how the government was going to collect cellphone data to track movements. Sickening ... absolutely sickening.

But it's all ok though because the government knows best.
this has been going on for years. tdot, google or waze have been using it for traffic maps. This is nothing new

Disinterest in a few election cycles should no way be an excuse to deny that person a vote. Often states are so heavily red, or blue, that some find it pointless to vote. If enthusiasm surges for a candidate, making it more difficult for those voters to express support, achieves the goal of the voter purges.

It might not be so nefarious. Raw tower records without identifying metadata would serve the same purpose.

Which is odd because their (Germany) cases per million is roughly 1000 where the US is about 700.

Now post the stats about their mortality rate and the they tests administered per capita. They tested early and often, and started doing it in January while we were trying to wish the virus away.

From the Governor's official statement:

I need to get off of here and chill for a bit. This really pisses me off and will probably get worse before this is all over with. Damnit.

You kind of danced around the question. Enthusiasm for a particular candidate could affect a D or an R. Georgia, especially in recent elections, isn't a state that is so heavily red that it can discourage turnout.

I do understand why what Kemp did raised eyebrows, particularly because he was running for governor in the next election. The way I understand it though, Georgia allows for automatic voter registration when people renew their driver's license. It doesn't unregister people who move, died, or are registered in multiple states, they are required by the feds to clean the rolls, and a bunch of states don't share voter rolls with other states. Hence if you hadn't voted in a couple elections, you got taken off. I'm not sure that disproportionately affects Democrats. Kemp was actually doing what previous state Secretaries of State had done - he happened to do it on the eve of an election he was running in.

I'm just saying that there are other factors at play besides "testing".
Also, the Europeans can afford to have a Universal Healthcare system since there aren't as many people relying on it (i.e. they're healthier). Over here, we have a disproportionate amount of obesity, heart disease, and cancer compared to across the pond.
Do they have Universal Healthcare because they are healthier, or are they healthier because they have Universal Healthcare?

Germany vs United States: Health Facts and Stats

I am sure there are a lot of factors that go into it as well. It would be a good model to follow.
