I see, but the question I was responding to was how to manage a potential crisis of people being out of work, who are not currently on any assistance, and not able to buy food.
The existing food stamp programs seem to be a good place to start, was what I suggested.
COVID-19 US state-by-state projectionsReally have nothing to back this up but I really really hope you are off with your prediction
Correct. Physicians are in the business of covering their butts. That doesn't mean you shouldn't listen to them, it just means that they will prepare you for the worst case scenario of a prognosis and focus on any possible complications first. They don't speak in absolute terms and they make no guarantees. This will often be at odds with a politician who only wants to accentuate the positive at all times (Trump).I predicted 45,000 as my worst case about 2 weeks ago. That looks to be wrong.
My point on Fauci and all the leadership involved on this is that not a one of them wants to dare be on the wrong side (under) with their prediction.
We'll lose 100 grand. I know it doesn't look that way but you'll see it in the next three weeks.
Sad to see Cusack doing the Greg Louganis into the crapper with his career...

Are you saying that John Cusack's sentiment will be unpopular among his colleagues in the entertainment industry? I don't think so. The reality is, an actor who shows support for Donald Trump like Vince Vaughn did, is taking a much bigger chance with his career.
Those are the film producers and casting agents. Actors who want to be hired for movie roles care... or at least they should. Has being an "insane Hollywood leftist" ever hurt Robert De Niro's career? How about Meryl Streep?LOL hell nah... who cares about his "industry colleagues"....those who buy tickets pay his salary. He's proven to be just another insane Hollywood leftist.
