Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Yes, Trump is inarticulate. His grammar is awkward and uncomfortable to listen to. He speaks in short phrases, rather than complete sentences, which he will often repeat as though his audience may not have heard him the first time. Trump only knows 5 adjectives. Everything is either "perfect", "beautiful", "great", "terrible" or "horrible". When I listen to him, he reminds me of the kid in elementary school giving a book report on something he didn't read.

You forgot "incredible".

Trump is getting blasted for suggesting a hot spot quarantine but what about Biden suggesting a nationwide 2 week shutdown? Also 20 house dems were encouraging it as well 4 days ago.

@Septic
Agreed they are not president. But trying to point out that the idiotic idea is coming from both sides.

I hate the idea regardless of who says it.

Yeah, I like trump ok and am not a big fan of the idea either

No one is a fan of any of this but at some point tough decisions are going to need by our leaders or they will be made by our doctors.

The feels of pissing voting blocs off should be outweighed by the greater good. For once I was rooting for Trump like I root for the Vols, but I'm starting to get the same sinking feeling when I know their best simply isn't good enough.

A lot has changed in 4 days. 4 days ago there were 26 deaths in Georgia....today over 80. 600 cases to almost 3000. So you see how positions can and should change.

I think we are starting to make a turning point.... it seems like deaths are starting climax and start to trend downward...... yes, I hope all of our politicians make decisions based on what they feel is best without giving a d$mn about what voters feel about it.

The CDC can figure out where the next hot spots are going to be by watching airplane traffic on flight aware. Not allowing an infected populace from traveling freely may be inconvenient but it is not idiotic, it's sensible.

You have no earthly idea what companies were involved or what their numbers were.
BC/BS was one that was mentioned specifically that pulled out of a market. It is a "non profit" locally-governed, tax-paying not-for-profit health plan and you want to blame anyone for them pulling out of a market, you would have to blame the State of Tennessee for not expanding medicare.

So Jan 19 was the first US positive, right? What is the under 20 death toll? Under 30? Under 40?

Just curious. I dont think anyone under 20 has died in the US. Or 30?

Apparently you either don't get insurance through your job, had crappy insurance at your job, live in a state that didnt expand Medicare. Sounds like you need to talk to your conservative representatives.
My insurance through my employer went up maybe $20, and I live in a red state. That was when it first went I to effect. I now pay about $550/month for a family plan, in a red state.

I seem to remember that you are a government employee?

What? This sht is ramping up, not slowing down. Cite your source.

CDC issues domestic travel advisory as coronavirus deaths double to over 2,000 people
It was from a healthcare question and answer call I was on from work...... it will take a little while for the stats to go down.... you don’t just catch it and die on the spot..... these death numbers are from people that have been seriously ill for a couple weeks.... the higher positive numbers is due to the ramping up in tests.

That is what I want it legitimate stats.... not all of this panic-inducing nonsense..... it makes it hard to find real info.
