I believe you're more full of crap than your girlfriend Justin. I didn't make fun of those people as directly as you've made fun of the dying and dead. Lol. Get real, its a big joke to you.

And I actually just got home from helping a friend with his to go orders, like I've done everyday this week at a restaurant I used to manage. Volunteered. I'm no saint, but far from a hermit or government slave. Just because I haven't been on every page of this thread and the one the Pub bishing like an 8 year old girl doesn't mean I'm anywhere close to what you think you know.

Early in I heard all about the real men back in the day, during the tough times and the great depression taking care of their business. If they had the Internet back then, do you think they would have spent hours and hours everyday bishing about not being able to go to the movies or out to eat?

I hope you get you job back and work you 40 hours overtime each week for the rest of the summer, with no AC. Lol.

My job is safer than most. If it disappears then shtt has really hit the fan.

You are a saint Behr.

I've been saying it for a couple weeks now. I think there is a disconnect somewhere in the "estimates" we're seeing out of states vs the actual cases we're seeing around the world.

Either they are completely misunderstanding how to calculate and are coming up with absurd projections, or they're just doing it intentionally. Or every other country in the world is just lucky.

People have been wrong from the beginning, but one thing most agree on is that we are still in the early stages. Italy did the lockdown thing later in the game, and we did even later, and in some cases still haven't.

Time will tell, that's all we know for sure. Planning for the worst case scenario isn't a bad thing in my opinion.

I don't think it's intentional. At one point there was very little data.

We do have pretty stable data now on what percent that get tested need hospitalization (just under 15%) and of that group what percent require a ventilator (20 - 25%).

Also consider that ventilators are not perishable and a sick patient may require a week of ventilation then it's available for the next patient.

I understand being cautious but claiming 30,000 are needed for the state of NY is highly at conflict with the reality on the ground.

Stable data? No, your so called stable data is dependent upon those that get tested. Everything else is based upon that number. If you quit testing then the number of hospitalizations/ventilators goes down to zero. Understand? We can't base anything on testing. Testing was important in the early stages when you might have been able to isolate this. We're way past that now. At this point what matters are hospitalizations, those that need ICU and deaths

Social Distancing: Migrant Attacks Baker After Being Asked to Wait Outside

A baker in the city of Arezzo was attacked by a migrant after she asked the man to wait outside before being served to prevent gatherings in the shop and the spread of Wuhan coronavirus.

The incident occurred earlier this week and saw the African migrant, who was described by the baker as being slightly intoxicated, enter the Boutique del Pane bakery while other customers were inside and was politely asked to wait outside until it was his turn to be served.

The migrant reacted highly negatively to the suggestion and began to berate the baker and the female customers in the shop, shouting “You Italians are ****!”

“I was serving a client when this young black guy entered, initially calm. I told him that he had to stay outside, that he had to respect like all the rules: in the shop no more than one at a time. And he has lost his mind,” the baker said, in comments reported by Italian newspaper La Nazione.

“The bad news was when he started to wreak havoc. He ran his hands over the shelves and threw everything on the ground, smashing what happened to be within his range: tins, glass jars, beer bottles. An uncontrollable fury,” she added.

Both the baker and a female customer were then attacked by the migrant who pushed them up against a wall and began hitting them.
The incident comes after a 60-year-old man in Novara was attacked by an African migrant after he was asked to keep a safe distance to maintain social distancing.
“He started to rail against the Italians calling them ‘bastards and racists’,” the victim said.

Alternate Headline: Drunk Person Does Stupid Stuff.

And, your point?

Read past the sensational headline. This is an experiment being done in case it’s needed, not because it is needed.

This is exactly the kind of chicken-**** crap being peddled around that needs to stop. It’s rank with being agenda driven.
What in the hell are you talking about. They are doing this. They call it an experiment because it has not been done before. Talk about agenda driven, you definitely displayed it with your post. Your agenda seems to scream, there is not a need for more ventilators, which is horse sh!t.
