'Nature does this every so often, it wipes us out': Unrepentant LAWYER maintains that we shouldn't 'tank the economy' to save old people - and his parents, in their 70s, AGREE

A California lawyer who claimed that self-isolation from coronavirus should be abandoned, removing protection for those most at risk, is defending his comments despite receiving death threats.

Scott McMillan, 56, and his parents are both in their 70s, agree with the idea that the economy should be put back into action by allowing the elderly who are 'expensive to maintain' and 'not productive' to meet their fate.

He has since deleted his tweet after trending on Sunday night but claims that he still stands by his words that despite receiving nine death threats and being criticized by both the right and left.

It drew attention after the lawyer, who describes himself as a John F. Kennedy-style Democrat, responded to President Donald Trump, who is also maintaining that he will have the country back up at running by mid-April at least.
