I saw her at Mud Island with Aaron Neville. That was probably a little more recent than the Sam & Dave show.

I did not know she was responsible for getting the Eagles together until the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame ceremony where she was inducted.

I recently discovered that I absolutely love key lime pie. I had some key lime cake about3 years ago someone made at a church dinner, and loved it. Finally tried key lime pie about a year ago, and loved it.

My mom used to make something that she called lemon icebox pie. One day I came across the recipe for Key Lime pie in Joy of Cooking, and it was the same as my mom’s lemon pie. She just “borrowed” the recipe and changed the fruit.

Makes me think of growing up, my mom made meringue with lime sherbet on top and cranberry (maybe? It was something red for colors) sauce on top for Christmas dessert. Looked similar to this.
