Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Lol why are you so mad? So he gave a positive outlook and now you're all mad. You thrive off of doom and gloom.

Not directed at me but Trump is pouring sugar on turds here, any rational person should be able to decipher why. If you want to take a bite, by all means do so but calling people "mad" for pointing it out that he's peddling false hope and untested treatments in order to salvage his economy and reputation may make you feel better, but they make you look silly.

Why do people have 2 years worth of TP? Doctors have the ability to overreact just like anyone else
How do we know the doctors are overreacting? Is the governor not overreacting by making the drug unavailable to covid19 patients not overreacting?

It's in testing and people ask every day about what they are doing to combat it. Testing might take a month. If he was vague about it, hed get criticized too. This isnt just his economy, it's all of ours and people are losing their jobs daily. If he wasnt trying to help salvage the economy, he wouldn't be doing his job.

You're putting the cart before the horse.

Banning a use of the drug isn't banning the drug nor will it prevent drs from prescribing and hoarding it like the article said. So his reasoning for the ban is idiotic.

It doesn't matter one iota what a French study says. The FDA must test and approve the drug as a treatment of COVID before it can be used. That had not happened when Trump opened his mouth.
Nor was it being prescribed or described as approved. it was described as "very promising" and then the next day "It may work, it may not work. I feel good about it. That’s all it is. Just a feeling"

Of course the ban will prevent doctors from hoarding drugs. Pharmacies cannot fill a prescription for a banned medication.

His explanation was he's keeping it available for those already using it to treat their illnesses

He should stay in his lane when it comes to treatment and defer to the experts, never forget that his background is in sales and television. Giving unwarranted hope doesn't help the economy or maintain jobs, it's times like these where all of the lies he's told for the last three years roost squarely on his credibility. The words that come out of his mouth now are just noise because he's established himself as a shameless self promoter who will do and say anything to prop himself up.
