So you think comparing a car wreck, which is a one time event, to the spread of a virus that there is currently no vaccine for and can easily be passed from a “seemingly” healthy person to a person who may not be able to fight it is reasonable? A car crash is a person to person spread. Involving innocents as well as possible exposed family members to both sets of victims. They happen typically when people/cars get too close. They put at risk populations, pedestrians, cyclists, etc, in danger. Their rate increases in cities with more people. The severity ranges from minor to severe.

Corona is just as much of a one time thing as car crashes. You can get in multiple wrecks in your life. You can receive and give wrecks through no fault of your own. You typically have no idea if you are going to wreck, or if someone else is, and there are actions you can do to minimize your risk.

It's the same end result, people hurt or even dead with no foreknowledge or fault. It's just the media by which humans hurting others that is different. Everything else is remarkably similar.

You look at the curve of car crash deaths (couldnt find number of wrecks in chart form) it was exponential at first.

Anything new is going to be exponential. The flu is exponential. Sars was expoential.

As people are just now first being exposed there is no way for this to not be expoential. Once everybody is exposed you can actually compare it to car crashes.
