Look up the stats. In Italy, too. Italy has the 2nd oldest population in the entire world behind only Japan. Most of those are, again, over 60 years old. Death rate worldwide for people over 60 is around 11% if infected (up to 18% for those over 80). Death rate for someone who is 28 is around .09% if infected. The elder population is skewing the numbers drastically. I’m speaking facts and statistics. You’re obviously a Democrat who thinks emotionally. If someone who is 75-90 gets nearly any flu/cold that turns into pneumonia, it’s not a good outlook.

If you think about it, they’re like the stoner kid in high school who is running for student body because of a dare. He has no ability or financial means to actually do those things, he’s just looking for an emotional reaction from the brainless to score their votes. It sounded good to the crowd, and he somehow wins. The guy who should’ve won went after him in the debate and started talking about legitimate things he could do. The crowd boos him before he gets 4 words in.

I agree with you 100% in theory it’s not the world we live in. You know how I am on the deficit. But we could do nothing here. And potentially see how long of a depression? We need to demand responsible government spending, so that when we have National Emergencies, we can act.

I understand your reasons behind your support. The stuff is hitting the fan. Unfortunately, we haven't had responsible spending. And now that a national emergency is on us, we don't have the money to spend.

I think we will only learn and demand change when there is pain.
