Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

How do they validate accuracy if test kits are unavailable or in short supply?

It is one of those known unknowns, as Donald Rumsfeld used to say.

There have been some testing availability changes in the last week and the trend line on transmission rate is still falling, so we are definitely pushing the worst case scenarios further forward on the calendar. That is about all I can say for certain. I was seeing some models where you hit a million new cases a day by early April and under this trend daily cases would start to go down sometime around mid April.

You still might see very high daily numbers and it won't be pretty, but the new critical cases for 40,000 a day would be 2,000 versus 50,000 new critical cases if a million people get it each day.

I am 100 % correct.

This is about the entirety of his presidency. The constant lying, the disregard for advice or instruction from people that know the facts because he just doesn't want to hear it. Its that ENORMOUS character flaw in him that is the reason to vote him out of office ASAP.

See, boy who cried wolf? That's where you lose. No one takes you seriously after all the other reasons that turned out to be political butt hurt. There's the general consensus that this is political butt hurt too.

judging from your post, you are not a mensa member. Stop pissing and moaning about what an insurance company told you. Your employees are adults....let them pick out their own insurance. Let them go through the exchanges and pick out their insurance. You are fighting a battle for no reason other than political leanings. If your goal was to get the employees insurance, whether they got it through the exchanges or through an employer sponsored plan, what does it matter? You could give them a stipend monthly to offset the costs. Whatever you would've been paying. Put on your big boy orbritches and man up.
You're obviously never learned to read. I have them that option and none took advantage.

Also, if it's so easy to start and run a business, why don't you do it. I mean there are millions to be made, right? Don't answer that, that was rhetorical.

Look I get it. There are sheep such as yourself that need to be taken care of. You don't have what it takes to take care of yourself so you rely on your company to make sure your health is taken care of. Your retirement is taken care of. You need to be cared and nurtured. Opening and running your own business offers you none of that. It's ok to be reliant too. Don't beat yourself up over it.

How so? He tells me to run a business. I have worked in many small businesses practically running the business. The owner was out doing the work. I ran payroll, paid the taxes, and handled other matters. Like I said, I am gainfully employed, why would I need to open a business. That is like telling someone who is happily single to go and get married.
Unless you have sweated every small detail of the business, made every decision, put your own money and future on the line, and worried your guts out over it when you go to bed at night, you haven't done sh!t.

So, quick survey, who's going to be cool with it when Trump asserts executive privilege to block oversight hearings on the federal coronavirus response?

.......and we should all vote for who exactly?? A freaking old idiot has been VP Democrat that doesn't know what State he's in half the time when campaigning or the other 78 year old fraud of a Congressman??

The market has nowhere to go but up, so that's a given. I doubt it's going to get anywhere close to the 30K point again for some years but bouncing back to 25K in the next 6 months or so is possible provided we are seeing the "worst" of the virus. There are bargains out there on the market that people will make a killing off of in the near future.

President Trump is being calm and collected during this crisis and providing a leadership example of not overreacting like we see some local leaders doing. I think that's exactly what a President should be doing during any crisis.
clueless, indifferent, uninformed are the adjectives that I would use.

why do I need to open up a business if I am gainfully employed....I have a pension and health insurance. I have no desire to open a business. But I can run a business. Running a business is not rocket science. Plenty of fools run businesses. You are not doing anything spectacular. Are you running a fortune 500 company? You conducting board meetings and overseeing daily production? Get off your high horse.

You work for a government, your posts make sense now.

Who's going to be cool when Democrats in Congress try some cheap political trick to undermine the President when they should be working with him?

You are trying to get me to believe you live in an area that had only one health insurance provider for your business, in a state that didn't expand medicare, and want to blame Obama for some provision in the ACA that cause that lone insurance provider to quit servicing your area.

WTF does expanding medicare have to do with the sole group plan insurance carrier pulling out of an area?
