Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

I don't give a **** what you believe. This is what happened: I COULD NOT AQUIRE HEALTH INSURANCE FOR MY EMPLOYEES. EVERY CARRIER I CONTACTED SENT ME TO THE EXCHANGE. I OFFERED TO PAY 50% OF ANY EMPLOYEE THAT PURCHASED THEIR INSURANCE THROUGH THE EXCHANGE. NONE TOOK ADVANTAGE OF IT.

I seriously don't know how much simpler I could explain it. It is 100% on Obama that I was unable to get an employee plan for my employees. You should probably quit posting about this because your ignorance is on full display.

That’s way too many words to try and explain anything to Mick . You have more than explained your circumstances , some times you just have to see people for who they are and shake your head as you walk away .

Mick is a thin skinned troll. Don't give him the satisfaction of working you up.

I'm also tracking the infection rate (how many people each confirmed carrier has infected) that would be needed to get from March 1st to each day's total of new cases. Over the last week you can actually see the infection rate start to decrease.

3/9 1.482
3/10 1.513
3/11 1.4595
3/12 1.4432
3/13 1.4386
3/14 1.4245
3/15 1.3946
3/16 1.3905

These are obviously rough numbers but they do give a readable trendline.

Based on this, fewer than 1367 new cases today will mean the infection rate has fallen again. Hopefully we are far below that today.

I refined my model a little and I think the rate was a little higher but is falling faster than this shows.

My math says we should have between 1,025 and 1,135 new cases today. Hopefully we stay under the top side. Obviously there a million caveats here, but I'm just trying to watch the trend.

I don't think it is inherently racist. I don't get that claim.

I do think it is a patently distractionary tactic by Trump and Fox to try to blame someone. I have seen on Fox over the last few days their reporters asking Republican members of Congress what punishment the Chinese should suffer for this. I'm not kidding. And it has been several times.

Its just a cheap effort to create someone to blame (other than Trump for his initially ambivalent response) when we have bigger problems on our hands.

Has the radical liberal left lost their f$&king minds?

Where did the wuhan virus begin? What caused the wuhan virus?

Saying that the wuhan virus began in China and the Chinese government covered it up for God knows how long is a coverup so Trump is not blamed?

During this time of uncertainty in America, as millions of people are losing their jobs and livelihood due to businesses shutting down because of a virus that began in China. The radical liberal lefts only agenda is how can we blame this on the president.

I have lost all faith in humanity (mostly the radical liberal left)

Lol, this is exactly why people shouldn't form opinions on things they know nothing about. Keep it up though, I'm enjoying it.
judging from your post, you are not a mensa member. Stop pissing and moaning about what an insurance company told you. Your employees are adults....let them pick out their own insurance. Let them go through the exchanges and pick out their insurance. You are fighting a battle for no reason other than political leanings. If your goal was to get the employees insurance, whether they got it through the exchanges or through an employer sponsored plan, what does it matter? You could give them a stipend monthly to offset the costs. Whatever you would've been paying. Put on your big boy orbritches and man up.

why do I need to open up a business if I am gainfully employed....I have a pension and health insurance. I have no desire to open a business. But I can run a business. Running a business is not rocket science. Plenty of fools run businesses. You are not doing anything spectacular. Are you running a fortune 500 company? You conducting board meetings and overseeing daily production? Get off your high horse.
This sounds a lot like what some billionaire politician said about farming.

You write his stuff? Congrats on his successful campaign.

Get your talking points together....

Honestly, I think it’s a little bit of a propaganda move in retaliation for China blaming the virus on us last week.

Running a business is hard work. It is a lot of responsibility. My hat goes off to anyone that runs a business. That is not the life and hours I chose.
Flip meet flop.

How do they validate accuracy if test kits are unavailable or in short supply?

Riddle me this:

If the intent is simply to name it as accurately as possible, why does Trump call it the "Chinese Virus," and not the "Wuhan Virus?"

This may be the silliest post of this thread.
