They won’t, but employees like my wife and most people she works with that do finance, project management, etc will be working from home.
Did they make a call on that, yet? I'm interested to see how it develops. I'm in Finance at a hospital in Georgia and assume at some point I'll be working from home.

She said the department head told her that they will most likely be moving to home by the end of the week or starting Monday. We will see. Also not sure if this will be just her department making that call or if other departments will follow suit and have their admin teams do the same.

So dumb.... people acting like the Black Plague part 2 is taking over.
Not really. People are being extra, however if all of elderly population gets this, there is a large number that could be in trouble. 1. We don’t have enough patient beds to treat everyone 2. We still don’t really understand why it’s affecting ppl that are 60+ differently. 3. We don’t have enough tests to see if ppl have it currently. 4. Everyone’s PPE counts are very low and the collective freak out hasn’t helped.

Both me and my wife are as well....they are getting work from home days starting today. My Director told us that it is coming. Georgia Tech is about to go remote as well.

We will shut down sporting events every year now because of “insert new disease with unique name” like the bubonic plague or small pox or tuberculosis is coming back... swine flu was worse.

Because most people over 60 have pre existing health issues or you know maybe you’re body isn’t as strong as it once was against disease?

For the SEC tournament?

Yes, especially for the NCAAT. You have 68 teams coming from all parts of the country. There is a high likelihood that someone has been exposed, and then they gather in cities to play each other.

It's just being safe. I tend to believe that this has been overblown a bit, but I have no issue with being cautious. Do anything possible to stop the spread.
