Well, you're basically saying his worse games were early in the season. And agreeing his best games were later in the season.
His 3 best games without question were Mizzou, South Carolina, and Kentucky. All occurred in late October or later.
Did he improve from 2018 to 2019? Not really, but he did get yet another OC with a new system to digest. He did however appear to improve in 2019 from the beginning to the end.
But we also only have one season with Weinke as the QB coach under his belt and he inherited JG/JT. It'll be interesting to see how well he develops Maurer/Bailey though.
