They did what Republicans should have done in 2016.
Nope. It's like you have no concept of what the FFs went through to unite the original 13 states into one country. Every state had to have a voice to bring them together. Take that away and you are fomenting rebellion. And you think that's a good idea in today's political climate? You’re right, they shouldn’t. The citizens of the country should decide their leaders by majority.
Every state gets a voice, regardless of population. What really pisses you off is that not every state agrees with you politically. The politics of this country should not be decided by a couple of states with massive population. No they shouldn’t, they should decide for themselves, just like everyone everywhere else.

lmao We've been over this. I believe in the Constitution. My views on political parties are the same as GWs. They're corrupt and only serve the purpose of dividing the country while seeking to amass power. Take away the voices of the smaller states and you create reason for another civil war in this country. Sure, that sounds laughable in today's world, but if states are not having their needs met because the larger states have undue power, what are their options? Your way of thinking is naïve. The EC was designed for a reason. It may not be perfect, but it's the closest thing to perfection we have. It helped bring the states together, and it helps keep the states united. It sounds like it pisses you off that the majority of Americans don’t agree with you politically and you want to cling to your disproportionate influence to spite the majority. You’re ok with discounting the value of a single vote because it benefits your agenda.
Again, you’re ok with larger states having a greater congressional representation than smaller ones but against larger states having a greater number of electoral votes based solely on that representation? Do you not think think the 55 congressman from California have a greater national voice than the 9 from Tennessee? If you want to make the presidential election based solely on popular vote then put every representative from every state on the national ballot or give every state the exact same number of representatives. I’m cool with that.

I'm done arguing for now. I'm under the weather today, so I'm going to take a nap. But you should consider this country is more fragile than you think. We're great at uniting against a common enemy, but when one doesn't present themselves, we're also great at tearing each other apart. Switching to a popular vote would only further incite that.
Do you feel the same when the people of a state vote to disallow abortion, gay marriage, legalize recreational drugs, vote for open carry of firearms, (or any hot button issue) only to have that vote overturned by the state judiciary or the politicians in charge of the state?I don’t care about a state’s population, I care about what Americans want.

They used common sense. Common sense said and data said that Bernie was going to get the voters need to be Trump. And as the voting data has shown Biden has and they were correct to rally to Biden. Then I would be acusing the Rs if using the power of the machine against Trump . You guys would have an argument if they had waited until after Super Tuesday to “ consolidate “ . But convincing two of the front runners to cave and immediately turn their ground game into Biden campaigns was all about the DNC and the big dogs turning off Bernies power .
Yes. What is the United States made up of? States? Do states have equal representation when one state has 55 representatives and another has 3? Maybe we should have an equal number of senators and representatives from every state or maybe our FF thought this thing through and compromised to balance the system as best it could....just like voting for the president.
Not at all. Not setting you up for a trap either. Your position on voting is easily understood even though I don't share it. I wonder how far that position extends. Should the voters not only be equal in determining the direction of President but also be equal in determining the direction of their state? Are you projecting?
