When has one party owned the majority needed to create an amendment? There are like 40 rural states and 10 populous states, so how do you figure the congress would ever have enough populous state representatives to actually make it right?
33 amendments have been created since the constitution has been installed . Now we have a problem creating one ? 27 of those were passed and sent to the states . We’ve been over this .
The argument that someone’s location should determine the weight of their vote is the most asinine thing I’ve ever heard defended.
The Founding Fathers were geniuses. Stick with them over what you feel is “fair”
I’m not defending anything other than what’s already there and the process for its amendment . It’s not me that has the hill to climb , just to get to the guarded high wall .
Trump kept his cool when he had like 8 people on stage attacking him, Biden won't land a punch. Meanwhile Biden has already threatened that he would fight Trump so it's likely Biden will lose him temper several times, especially when trump brings up the crack head Hunter. It is going to be humorous this fall watching everyone try to decide which one of these old farts makes the most gaffes. Debates should be fun too, Trump and Biden both have tempers and are easy to get riled up.
The same logic applies because one or two large cities shouldn’t dictate the politics of the country. It’s a great system and will continue to always be as it will never changeThey weren’t super human, and they wrote these rules for 13 coastal colonies, not 50 states across a continent. Deferring to the status quo without even trying to apply critical thinking is all too common in America today unfortunately.
