Biden is similar to Obama. They say nice things in one breath then things like "elections have consequences" in another. It's politics. If Biden suits your politics, fine. I just don't see the point in saying he'll "heal" the country. That's just not true. He'll work to institute a more liberal agenda while being opposed by the right. No different than Trump pushes a more conservative agenda while being opposed by the left. None of that is going to change. Both sides will continue to demonize each other. That's not "healing" That's just one side being happy because they're in charge.
I think everyone is aware that sometimes the other side wins. That's nothing new.Until you accept your side was a sore loser, you'll remain living in denial. The real lesson is sometimes the other side wins and you have to live it. It's called life.
Liberals in the last two elections:
A seizing “suicide” machine and an old, white dude who can’t form a single, coherent sentence.
And idiots have the nerve to ask how we got Trump. Lulz.
I think the left understands perfectly well that the pendulum has always and will always swing from side to side.
Luckily the "fixed" point actually slowly moves left. The battle is over how quickly that "fixed" point moves.
This isn't a right left issue. This isn't a Hillary lost issue.
This is and always has been about Trump - a horrendously despicable human.
I don't think the right understands that critical point.
That all goes without saying.Once more I feel the need to remind you that your opinion is not fact. Someone may very well feel like Biden or Sanders are far worse than Trump. They are as entitled to their opinion as you are to yours. People could make the exact same statements that they aren't normal, have never been normal, and should not be normalized. That's how opinions work. Just because you believe something does not make it true.

You know what was really different this time? Eight years of Obama and the left was certain they were going to get eight years of Hillary. Then they didn't. The attempts to say "but Trump" are a mask to the embarrassment the left felt. They were convinced they had the election in the bag. So convinced that Hillary skipped over campaigning in several states. They were sure they couldn't lose. But they did. And they promptly lost their damn minds.I think everyone is aware that sometimes the other side wins. That's nothing new.
You know what is different this time? Trump.
I know that has to be your perspective.Probably because it's not the point. The objections to Trump are not based in morality, they're based in politics, and it's been illustrated countless times. You're okay with lying. You're okay with philandering. Hell, you're okay with corruption. As long as it comes from the left. But Trump is a Republican so that makes him the worst human being ever. The key is politics, not morality, and you've demonstrated it over and over in your posts, then tried to cover when called on it. People aren't blind, luther. We see you.
I'm not trying to be God.You speak for none of those things. You're not God, luther. You don't get to decide what everyone else thinks or believes.
My position has always been no politician is normal. You're the one who singled out Trump. I seem to remember when I first made that statement, you started your degrees and continuums mumbo jumbo. And you still fail to acknowledge your degrees and continuums are based off your opinions and not actual facts.I know that has to be your perspective.
You have a long history of trying to normalize Trump and that dictates your responses.
You have demonstrated that over and over in your posts.
You state what you think and believe as if it's definitive, unarguable fact. In fact, you don't even really argue it. You just continually refer back to degrees and continuums as if they somehow prove your point. They don't.I'm not trying to be God.
I'm not trying to decide what everyone else thinks or believes.
I'm merely stating what I think and believe.
I have been consistent in those thoughts and beliefs since the beginning of this catastrophe.
My degrees and continuums started long before then, and of course they are based on my opinions; but my opinions are at least partially based on facts. Some continuums are more fact based than others, some continuums are more opinion based than others. My position has always been no politician is normal. You're the one who singled out Trump. I seem to remember when I first made that statement, you started your degrees and continuums mumbo jumbo. I agree the country deserves better choices. You state what you think and believe as if it's definitive, unarguable fact. In fact, you don't even really argue it. You just continually refer back to degrees and continuums as if they somehow prove your point. They don't.
Despite the constant label of "Trumper" you and Mick like to throw at me, I recognize Trump is a less than ideal President. Unlike you and Mick, I can also say the same about Obama. I can also say neither Biden nor especially Sanders are the answer. Remember how I kept saying the left should focus on 2020, not a pointless, doomed to fail impeachment? Keep that in mind. The country deserves better choices, but neither party is providing them.
My degrees and continuums started long before then, and of course they are based on my opinions; but my opinions are at least partially based on facts. Some continuums are more fact based than others, some continuums are more opinion based than others.
A politician may not be normal in your view, but in your view there would have to be what you consider a normal politician.
The perspective that all politicians are equally bad is absurd.
Just as all judges, football players, lawyers, doctors, carpenters, etc....cannot all be equally good or bad.
It's an ignorant premise, a non-starter, and a complete cop-out.
The only "healing" pertinent to Biden's case would require a cure for dementia.Biden is similar to Obama. They say nice things in one breath then things like "elections have consequences" in another. It's politics. If Biden suits your politics, fine. I just don't see the point in saying he'll "heal" the country. That's just not true. They never deserved to have Hillary as a choice either(IMO), but they did. Yet you continually blame the right for running what you see as a bad choice when the left did the exact same thing. None of this however other many choices BS. Both sides made bad choices and one had to win. It just so happens you preferred the other bad choice.I agree the country deserves better choices.
But the country never deserved for Trump to be a choice.........IMO.
You're right. Elections aren't usually decided by who gets the most votes and are usually decided by an antiquated system instead. #sheep
I do not believe that all democrats are better than all republicans. What politicians in today's world would you hold up as a role model? I'm not talking going back in time to your beloved Jimmy Carter. Today's world. And you're right, some are worse than others, but that's really based on personal opinion and the criteria you use. For example, you make it quite clear that all Democrats are better than Republicans in your world. You're entitled to that opinion, but it's certainly not fact.
We have had this conversation a few times. They never deserved to have Hillary as a choice either(IMO), but they did. Yet you continually blame the right for running what you see as a bad choice when the left did the exact same thing. None of this however other many choices BS. Both sides made bad choices and one had to win. It just so happens you preferred the other bad choice.
