It’s a replay of the Bush-Katrina strategy. That was back when GW was the most evil guy in the world. Should have been put in prison!

The lesson to be learned here is that in 10 - 15 years, the new Republican President will be the most despicable person ever and people will be talking about how reasonable and moderate Trump was.

Say anything bad about your hero, then automatically a "liberal". I'll take this guy's opinion over yours as I am guessing he is slightly more educated on this subject (and probably every subject) than you. You just keep regurgitating FoxNews though chief.

How testing failures allowed coronavirus to sweep the U.S.

Smh. Well, yours truly got hit with the semi-voluntary quarantine. This is so dumb. My wife’s school has been scanning staff’s (but not kids’) temperatures and sending anyone with a slight fever home. On Monday they told her she had to get a flu test. She did the same day and it was negative, but our pcp still diagnosed it as likely flu and prescribed Tamiflu (which we thought was dumb and didn't fill, but whatever). She hasn’t had a fever since Tuesday so they let her back to work yesterday. This afternoon, we got a call from the doc’s office asking us to self-quarantine for two weeks. LOL. They also said that, despite what you may hear on the news, there still are no covid-19 tests available.

We were told we’d have tens of thousands of tests available in Washington state by now, but our largest lab (UW) is currently only processing 400/day. They say they currently have capability to test 1000/day at that lab, but for some reason are not getting that many samples. There are countless anecdotes here of people with all the symptoms whose doctors tell them “you probably have coronavirus, but there are no tests available”. Heck, we still haven’t even tested all the people at the Life Care Center in Kirkland – ground zero!! Some residents families are being told they will be tested in 7 to 10 business days. Until then they are stuck in that deathtrap. My heart breaks for those families. Two more elder care facilities in Seattle and Issaquah got positive diagnoses today :(

Most major sporting and business events here have been cancelled or delayed. Most colleges have either closed or switched to online classes for the rest of the month. However, only a couple of elementary schools have closed, and most of those are only closed for 2-3 days for “deep cleaning”. Like that will do any good... I’m sure it won’t be much longer, but I really don’t understand the hesitation to close schools. The absentee rate is already ~20% anyway.

Children are asymptomatic and aren’t even getting tested with travel history or known contacts. But the schools keep saying they don’t have any confirmed cases so they aren’t closing… I get that it’s inconvenient and it means parents or grandparents have to take care of most of them. But if you wait too long, tons will become asymptomatic carriers that grandma and grandpa shouldn’t be caring for…

Not a chance in hell. Trump will live in infamy.
"At least they're better than Trump" will be the comment describing every republican president moving forward.

Cheney did score very low on the continuum. Much to despicable to ever consider running for president....those were the days.
