Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

That's right. I have been a patient of MD Anderson myself. This was 9-10 years ago, had a small lesion on my lower lip that was fortuitously, completely removed by a former Navy surgeon (an ear/nose/throat guy in the Woodlands my GP sent me to) when he did a "shave biopsy" for the initial diagnosis. It was assayed as a type of skin cancer (not a melanoma but I forget the technical name for it) which if left untreated could potentially metastasize. Not knowing how cleanly it was dealt with by the biopsy, or whether it might have already spread, I went to several more doctors including a great lady (a top Moh's surgeon) at Baylor who cut on it as well, and also to MD Anderson, and did a topical chemo-type treatment that temporarily tore up my lip... but I have been clean ever since the old Navy guy took the knife to me.

Same here. Got burned on my arm about 20 years ago smaller than the size of a pencil eraser. A couple of years ago, the skin started flaking and I could just scratch it off and there was a red spot and then a week or two later the skin dried over again. Did this for abut a year and finally went to see a Dr up off 249 (Methodist iirc) and it was cancer. Got a 2-3" scar on my arm from the meat they took off. I used that chemo cream on another spot and sure enough it will burn that crap off. That was precancerous we believe though. Got to watch that Texas sun.

Was the chemo cream called Aldara? I believe that's the name of the stuff I used. It was some rough stuff. Not only tore up my lip but knocked me on my azz during the 30 days I used it.

I think it was FluorouraciI. I had to apply the cream daily and it was prescribed by the skin and cancer clinic when I had already moved back to TN last year. I had to use it for like 2 weeks straight, a couple of weeks off, then 2 weeks straight again. It burned the skin after a few days and scabbed real bad. It was nasty, but I did not have any side effects.

Not a big fan of tequila. Mescal neither. That's the one with the worm in the bottle, you tried that?

( Waiting for your joke about a worm in a bottle... )
Believe me, I'm no fan of Tequila either. As far as the worm in the bottle goes, I will never try to stick mine in another bottle ………..ever.

Can you really watch that and not ask yourself “Does this guy have any clue what he’s saying and how it’s coming off?.” I mean hell A&M’s defense sounded better and he isn’t the POTUS.

. I have noticed that in several instances he has said what appears to be some real stupid **** and after seeing what he did it made sense.

So if Trump allows those prisoners off the Diamond Corona Supermax without knowing if and how many people are infected and the set off a mini epidemic because nobody knew, then you good with that? You don't think that "I like the numbers being where they are. I don't need to have the numbers double because of one ship" would mean he doesn't think it would be wise to turn loose a new set of Coronavirus starters, so they can quickly double the number of infected people? You'd just rather interpret a different and more sinister/unflattering way?

From the other cruise ship debacle it's fairly apparent that quarantine on a ship is risky business, so where do you quarantine 3500 people? Don't you think it might take a bit of logistics to resolve how you get a mix of infected and unaffected but potentially infected people off a ship and find a place to put them? If they did it wrong (like just let them off the ship and free to travel) and infections jump, we'd certainly hear all about that (how the administration completely failed in it's opportunity to protect the nation, and now we're all gonna die).
If testing is up to snuff, determine who's negative and who's positive. Uninfected people go home and figure out to do with the rest.

Just listened to tucker carlson talk about how much of our drugs are made by china' i was really surprised how we are dependent even for drugs.

This virus is a great reason why we need to have antibiotics and other drugs made in America. It's a good reason to have stuff made here.

I went to Amazon to refill my usual poop paper and they were out. This coronavirus is hitting home for me. Oh and when I was at the grocery store yesterday, they didn't have any hand sanitizer either. This is bad, really really bad.
Kimberly Clark’s machines are running full speed. It’s amazing to watch one of those machines screaming out paper and know that that many people are wiping or blowing their noses
