NH coronavirus patient breaks isolation, potentially exposing others

We have idiots in this country man. A hospital worker. who tested positive, was told to stay in isolation by state health officials in NH and instead decided to go to an event. Now a 2nd person have the virus and health officials are trying to track down everyone that was at this event on the 28th.

There's laws against breaking an isolation order and this person needs put in jail. If they were in China their door would be getting screwed shut right now.

She’s a selfish idiot, but at the time she didn’t break any laws, besides laws of common freaking sense, as it was just a verbal go home and stay there.

Now there is a legal order involved and violating it carries some legal ramifications.

There is no slowing down a virus like this (hopefully the change in weather will slow it, but no president or world leader is going to slow something like this down). It’s a virus. It spreads. You can’t shut down international travel for an extended period. I can only imagine the outrage from the left if he had done that as well.

Racists, racists everywhere for shutting out the foreigners. Also would have went over well with any americans abroad.

Then you add in the trade war crying and there wouldnt have been an end to it.

Don't you see: that would be the goal. Then, blame Trump for all the problems caused by his unprecedented travel ban, which was beyond his scope of power. Then, maybe they could impeach him again or reduce his chance for reelection.

Once again, the President is basically a non-factor in the spread of a respiratory virus. We have agencies and systems that handle health crises. Really, his primary jobs are to ensure that we have the best experts on the job, keep people calm, and encourage them to listen to their state and local health authorities if recommendations are issued.
