Finally got around to watching "Once Upon a Time in America" yesterday. A dang near 4 hour mob epic. Had no idea the director was the same guy that made most of the greatest Spaghetti Westerns (The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, other Eastwood classics). I've been on a big gangster movie kick for the past year, trying to watch all the revered classics. But I've never gotten into westerns.

Anyone have any gangster/mob/mafia movie suggestions or suggest a western to dip my toes into?

The Trinity movies, the best of the spaghetti Westerns.

I am one county over from Cookeville and my Sister and her Family lives in Cookeville. The Cookeville Mayor stated the Tornado tore a 1/4 mile wide and 3 mile long path just west of Cookeville. I believe all the Putnam County deaths were in that 1/4 mile x 3 mile area.

Just came to post. Wake (Raleigh area) is still some 4 hours from us here in Western NC...but it is now to our East...and South in Atlanta. Only a matter of time.

I am one county over from Cookeville and my Sister and her Family lives in Cookeville. The Cookeville Mayor stated the Tornado tore a 1/4 mile wide and 3 mile long path just west of Cookeville. I believe all the Putnam County deaths were in that 1/4 mile x 3 mile area.

You can tell from the live feed on WVLT. Devastating. 17 confirmed dead in that section so far.

Praying she is OK. All of the communications on the west side of Cookeville are down. People are driving into the area to check on loved ones.

Cookeville is gonna need all the help it can get between the loss of life and sheer devastation. Nashville has plenty of resources and will ultimately be fine but Cookeville is gonna need a lot of help. I worry that the nation is focusing on Nashville while the hardest hit spot with fewer resources is being forgotten.
