I see the annual offseason MJ vs LBJ goat debate is in full swing again...another decade and we might finally get it sorted out..

Never will be settled because people are comparing guys that played different positions in different eras. Jordan is the most clutch, best winner and had the strongest will.

LeBron is probably the most athletically gifted and most overall talented player I've ever seen.

My pick is Jordan for one reason. Put MJ in LBJs body and he would have still been dominant, probably even more so. Put LBJ in Jordan's body and he would have still been good but probably not all-time great.

I couldn't stand Kobe but there is a case to be made for putting him over LBJ. No case for putting him over MJ.

Are you old enough to have watched Jordan's career? If not, it's hard to explain the level of his greatness to you or explain how he(and a lot of players from that era) was wired different. The game was much less friendly in that era. Guys today work out with each other, mentor each other...its weird.

I grew up with NBA players that hated the other team on the court and a lot of them didn't like each other off the court....that is where the original Dream Team was so special. It was amazing that they came together for national pride. The game has mostly lost that edge.

Last thing I'll say before I log off for bed....imagine if halfway into LBJ's career he had developed an unguardable, unlockable shot that he could go to 10-15 times a game and nobody could do anything about it. Imagine knowing that any time points were absolutely needed or the game was on the line, there was no question who was getting the ball and there was no doubt that he was going to come through. Sometimes that would mean finding an open man but mostly that meant him nailing a dagger shot. That is what Jordan became.

He was already the best player in the world but he transcended that and became a surefire assassin. I've never had the feeling that LBJ has that in him. Kobe was the closest to that level of greatness and even he wasn't on Jordan's level. Sorry for the long post.

India doesn’t seem to have the same problem, and that country is filthy.

Could be all the crazy sh!t they eat in China.

Well they did trace the source to a wildlife market in Wuhan, correct? That's what I had read but not sure if anything changed.

Buy China has refused to enforce their ban on endangered species. A country that controls internet access but auctions for illegal animals, live and parts, is openly advertised on state TV. And no real regulation on the legal wild species.
Unfortunately, it's a recipe for this kind of thing.

I'm more inclined to believe it could be from something like this than from a food market:

No one has done anything. Just taking a break but will leave you this last nugget for awhile. Ergen has been the catalyst in so much of the change. He is why Fulmer is in place and his value to the University has replace the other family. We are in very good hands.
Hope you come back soon. I appreciate your insights and think you add value here.

I was looking at our 2020 schedule and comparing national rankings for 2019 performance, 2020 returning production, and the composite rankings for the 2019 rosters and 2020 recruiting class. Our offense still sucks and of course that has everything to do with the fact that we play against some of the best defenses in the country every year. It’ll be interesting to see if we improve this year on that side of the ball and by how much. I think we probably win 7 regular season games without any offensive improvement but could possibly compete for 3 additional regular season wins if we’re not hamstrung again by our offense. I think both SC and UK will be interesting games. SC is on the road and Boom is on the hot seat. UK hasn't won in Neyland since Moses crossed the Red Sea. I think OU can probably reload on offense; MO probably doesn't have a prayer. jmo.

I wanted to go ahead and get this post out of the way because from here on out and starting with the beginning of spring practice next week it’s likely that most of my posts going forward regarding our 2020 season will be in support of the how and why we actually end up 15-0. TIFWIW.

The most impressive thing to me about our 2019 team is once we turned it around we were able to win a number of low scoring games. Aside from the heroics of the defense I think that also speaks to the character of the team that Pruitt is building. Having said that, we need to figure out a way to score some dat gum points on offense. jmo.
