I live on the west side of the city and just experienced strong storms. Downtown and east of the city got hit hard. So far, I’ve heard from almost all of my friends and everyone is okay, thankfully. Still waiting on word from my uncle that lives in Lebanon and lives right in the path of where the tornado hit though. Praying he’s alright.

I was looking at our 2020 schedule and comparing national rankings for 2019 performance, 2020 returning production, and the composite rankings for the 2019 rosters and 2020 recruiting class. Our offense still sucks and of course that has everything to do with the fact that we play against some of the best defenses in the country every year. It’ll be interesting to see if we improve this year on that side of the ball and by how much. I think we probably win 7 regular season games without any offensive improvement but could possibly compete for 3 additional regular season wins if we’re not hamstrung again by our offense. I think both SC and UK will be interesting games. SC is on the road and Boom is on the hot seat. UK hasn't won in Neyland since Moses crossed the Red Sea. I think OU can probably reload on offense; MO probably doesn't have a prayer. jmo.

I wanted to go ahead and get this post out of the way because from here on out and starting with the beginning of spring practice next week it’s likely that most of my posts going forward regarding our 2020 season will be in support of the how and why we actually end up 15-0. TIFWIW.

The most impressive thing to me about our 2019 team is once we turned it around we were able to win a number of low scoring games. Aside from the heroics of the defense I think that also speaks to the character of the team that Pruitt is building. Having said that, we need to figure out a way to score some dat gum points on offense. jmo.

Thanks for the info. The later point about winning lower scoring games is really important when you play the top teams. If your defense is competing well, your O can control the outcome through ball control (running/short passing games) as long as they can execute in the red zone. It takes grit to win like this team did last season. I like it. If it continues it bodes well for the future.

😳

The US is a close second on ivory and my hate for that group is flowing just fine.

Maybe more, no excuse for the ignorance exposed in a recent survey. Half believe their ivory comes from a renewable source. One young lady honestly answered - "I only purchase farm raised". When asked how that worked, she replied " I believe it's grown in greenhouses and ecofriendly".
Merica.
You'd think with all the information that's currently, literally in the palm of your hand, people would be more informed. The American populace is getting dumber by the day.

It's embarrassing.
Pop culture is a good indicator. When Nat geo, History and Discovery channels switch to "reality tv" to survive as a result of demand...
And info on things you 'believe in' comes soley from Twitter, because Google and articles take too long.

You about to make that jack if your a lineman!
