Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

This way of thinking and statement right here is what’s going to get us.

“If I were at home with similar symptoms, I probably would have gone to work as usual.”

For some people, sure. But right now the death toll is 2900 out of 85k cases. That's 3.4%. I agree that is a high estimate because there are unreported mild cases. But even if it was another 20k, the death rate is > 2.5%.

So that's why the idiot left while he's still hacking and coughing?

And who shares their water with their kid while sick??

The tweets were deleted was this guy coughing with his daughter on air later confirmed to have Covid-19?

I'm not sure sharing the water matters when her head is right next to him and he's coughing. The 6 foot rule is already compromised.

Thanks Doc, it has been appreciated. Unfortunately, what was once a good informative thread with information sharing and solid discussions seems to have turned to total shite recently.

Yes, this used to be an interesting thread but as soon as the market slid the overload of political crap that's already in every other thread poured into here.

This facility is 7 miles away from us and the hospital where the guy died about 5 miles. Groceries are going to be fun this weekend...

Best case scenario: It will slowly makes its way from the west to the east.

I'm finding most of our influenza A people wait until their fever is over 103 and they can't fight their families anymore. The families make them come. We had one the other night with 105*. He got the ice packs and was totally delirious.

You get to 103 and you just pop 2 extra strength Tylenol and you are back down to below 100 in an hour or less.

My wife had a major surgery last year, bladder removed, they knicked her colon, feces got in her blood(I forget the name they call it). It was really bad at first, fever was constantly around 103 off and on for days. Admitted back into the hospital several times, then released and it would go right back up. One night right after leaving the ER, they got it to 100 and let her go, we got home and it spiked to 105 on our thermometer. She was having convulsions, I was scared to death cause we hadn't been home a couple of hours. Off topic, but I'd never seen anybody get a fever that high, or react that way. They've been fighting it for a year with antibiotics, even IV treatment. It's there, but thankfully hasn't caused nothing like that again so far. Sorry, off topic, the 105 just made me think of it.
