Agreed. I think sterilization is the way to go.
What about thismy company does HF testing as well....commercial driving and all, better safe than sorry i guess....but, that we do the HF testing, it makes interviews pretty entertaining sometimes.....
i've gone thru interviews that went really well, and at the end, i usually just throw that out there..."hey just so you know, we do HF testing here, is that gonna be any sort of an issue?"
when the response is "uh, how far back does that go?" then i pretty much just say, 'it was nice meeting you'...and bring in the next one.
lol.
i get why we do it, and on one level it makes sense.
on another level, however.... these days....it really shrinks the talent pool you have to choose from............lol.
I applied for a part time job at carmax a few years ago, and they swabbed my cheek....What about this

I’ve not used or drank anything in over 20 years, but I don’t have a problem with the marijuanas as they call them. I don’t know if I’ve ever heard of a pot head running over someone like drunk driving? They’re usually the ones going 30 miles per hour, now they may think they’re going 80
Year in year out the most self deluded fanbase in college football.
Good thing I’m not a broker. I’m a captive agent
yep. that's it. it's not required by the DOT....and we don't do randoms by using HF test, just urine. but pre employment prerequisite...yep.What about this

Terry Wilson is one of the worst SEC QB’s I’ve seen.
Prove me wrong
in general i agree. i wasn't a fan of the HF testing when they instituted it....it really does limit your hiring pool when you have an absolute like that on the table. and it may not mean a thing in the long run.No need to explain the the upside, I get it, I really do.
But you still have to admit that for a country obsessed with second chances and redemption stories, we sure appear the opposite.
We just keep finding new ways to go back further and dig deeper to find if someone ever did anything.
So that we can deny them.
