Francis Boyle who wrote the biowarfare act of 1989 has recently as November told 4 different news agencies this virus was produced at U of NC by a Chinese scientist named Zhengli Li Shi at a BSL 3 and then taken to Wuhan BSL 4.
He said the virus, verified by 2 specialists, was in fact a " gain of function" work product. That equals weaponized. It means the original Indian doctors who posted that it was spliced with HIV1 were probably correct. He also verified this wasn't the first but the 3rd leak from wuhan.

Duped by the global warming disaster that is China.Duped by all the cheaper electronics, autos, clothes and stuff. It's been terrible.
Science is a lot like facts, the right wing kryptonite.
And statements like this are why 90% of the posters here completely disregard or simply ignore anything you and those who think this way bother to post. So ignorant.
Aside from the many "right" leaning posters here that are both educated and intelligent, my aunt and uncle for example are both UT educated microbiologists/virologists with masters degrees. They are devout Christian's and conservatives. There are millions like them. They are all the "makers" who run this country and drive the economy so all the "takers" who sit home selling dope waiting for their monthly check can continue to vote for the "free sheit" left.

It's all about the Benjamins baby!
So when a news report states the north pole is melting, but negated to print that the pole is shifting towards Siberia which is now enduring colder weather than ever, That would be a lie of omission. Yet we have the storm troopers screaming like town cryers " see ...climate change is melting the north pole".Of course, but I also understand that it's ignorant to claim that cigarettes are not harmful, which many did long after the evidence was conclusive.
When to accept scientific evidence and with what degree of certainty is the issue.
There were those last few who believed the world was flat until their dying days.
There was once that dwindling group that maintained the Earth was the center of the universe.
There was that last "scientist" publicly claiming cigarettes were not harmful with a group willingly pointing to him as their proof.
wow.Honestly, if anyone were to get infected within the Administration, the irony would be thickest if it were good ol' squeeky clean Pence. Especially if he caught it for a woman.
Mike Pence Speaks Out Against Post-marital Sex
It's not that difficult.
Prepare a statement which says
--There's a a new virus spreading through out the world "I have just received another briefing from a great group of talented people on the virus that is going on around to various parts of the world"
--It's new and we're still learning about how to control it "we have through(sic) some very good early decisions" "we started by looking at certain things. We have been working with the Hill very stongly... "
--Most people who are infected only have mild symptoms and recover nicely "(my words)he describes how the 15 are doing, and talks about its similarities to the flu which is generally considered mild"
--The US government is working hard to prepare American healthcare for infected patients and develop a vaccine "we have the greatest experts really, in the world right here. The people that are called upon by other countries when things like this happen. We are ready to adapt and we're ready to do whatever we have to as the disease spreads, if it spreads"
Is it your position that man plays no role in climate change? So when a news report states the north pole is melting, but negated to print that the pole is shifting towards Siberia which is now enduring colder weather than ever, That would be a lie of omission. Yet we have the storm troopers screaming like town cryers " see ...climate change is melting the north pole".
It's a money laundering scheme, pure and simple.
That's complete nonsense. Say: they are wasting 50% of their funds. If you cut funding by 10% and make them 25% more efficient, it would actually have a net positive impact. Some more than others. If the agency is heavily involved in research, especially in a field of growing threat, a 10% reduction will have a negative impact.
See the quotes, one is my summation of a paragraph of speech. The rest are direct quotes.
Seems like he did exactly what you wanted. But because Trump it wasnt good enough. And he said all of that in the first 3 minutes of his 9 minute speech. I didnt bother with the rest because your points were addressed. Pence probably said similar things.
Honestly, if anyone were to get infected within the Administration, the irony would be thickest if it were good ol' squeeky clean Pence. Especially if he caught it for a woman.
Mike Pence Speaks Out Against Post-marital Sex
Yeah, it's pretty funny -- actually -- when these loons continually make fun of conservatives, Christians, Trump supporters, 2A defendants, etc... mocking our intellect or reason, calling us insignificant. That description, for the most part, fits 90%+ of my friends and colleagues, and I can assure you that they are anything BUT a bunch of ignorant fools. And statements like this are why 90% of the posters here completely disregard or simply ignore anything you and those who think this way bother to post. CNN:
"Health and Human Services Secretary Alexander Azar stressed that he was still in charge of the task force addressing the novel coronavirus following President Donald Trump's announcement that Vice President Mike Pence would lead US efforts to battle the outbreak.
"I'm still chairman of the task force," Azar said Wednesday, as a White House news briefing on the coronavirus concluded and Trump and Pence looked on.
"Mick Mulvaney has been serving an invaluable role for me as acting chief of staff, helping to coordinate across the government with my colleagues and the whole of government approach," Azar continued. "Having the vice president gives me the biggest stick one could have in the government on this whole of government approach."
Just minutes before, Trump had said Pence would lead the US government's response to the coronavirus. Azar's post-news conference statements muddled the message on who is in charge of the administration's response to the crisis, which was perhaps the biggest news to come out of Trump's meandering news conference on the virus Wednesday evening.
Azar's comments came after CNN reported earlier Wednesday that Trump had privately expressed frustration with his HHS secretary, accusing Azar of not keeping him updated enough.
"I'm going to be putting our Vice President Mike Pence in charge, and Mike will be working with the professionals, doctors and everybody else that's working," Trump said during the news conference, adding that Pence will report directly to him.
When asked whether he felt he being replaced, Azar relied, "Not in the least."
"When this was mentioned to me, I was delighted that I'd get to have the vice president helping me -- delighted, absolutely," he continued.

So... Pence is in charge, but not in charge. Got it.
Pretty sure the CDC has spent tens of millions on guns, ammo, and office furniture. Seems like an easy place to cut. It's not really amazing at all seeing as how the cuts haven't gone into effect.
If a 10% reduction has no negative impact, why would anyone worry about a 10% reduction in pay, or a 10% increase in taxes?
I just find it humorous that Trump, you, and others talk about the world class status of the CDC and how they will do what needs to be done to protect us, but at the same time feel justified in slashing their budget.
So first, people complain that Trump put Pence in charge. A man with "no experience in this type of stuff and with no medical background". Then shortly after, Azar says that Pence is on his team and that he is still in charge but has the #2 man in government working with him and people still complain? I mean this sounds like the best of both worlds, one man with an extensive background in the medical field and knowledge of this issue and the VP who brings huge amounts of government resources and eyes to the situation and people are still griping just because its Trump. It seems some of you would like to see America suffer if it made Trump look bad, but thats what I've come to expect from the democrats so I don't know why I'm surprised...
Duh. Have you never worked with high ups before? They get attached as the face, but all the work gets done by people who know what's going on. This allows the actual experts, no idea if Azar is but let's say he is, to do his job while Pence as VP and a do nothing politician deals with questions and PR.CNN:

So... Pence is in charge, but not in charge. Got it.
And? Do you expect whatever leader is there to do real work? That's not how the government or any decently sized entity works.Yeah, in the next few days we'll get photos of Pence sitting at a table with guys in white coats and thick binders, maybe a big poster board. Or perhaps touring a lab, looking concerned and serious.
An hour? The transcript had him speaking for 9 minutes. And it was the opening parts of it.Oh.
My.
God.
You took the four or five sane things he said in an hour and spin that as the entirety?????
Come on !!! Anyone watching that comes away with the distinct sense that, despite the actual objective facts coming out about this, Trump was intentionally trying to downplay the risk. And irresponsibly so.
