So that new case in CA with no travel history/connections to previous cases was admitted to a hospital last Wednesday but wasn't tested until Sunday because they did not meet the CDC's criteria for testing.

Perhaps but that could easily be found out by the feds I would imagine. I think using travel history now is kinda pointless with so many countries now reporting cases.

Of the 78k cases in China 32k have been retested and are free of the virus and are no longer contagious. The infections in China have seemed to peak so hopefully in the next couple of months the cases in other countries will too

That's an excellent question. If you ban travel to Italy, you hit both economies. And then someone from Germany brings it in anyway.

If you test everybody coming in, someone has a false negative. And people get missed anyway.

No way to win.

Too soon,apparently and ivenot seen anything definitive on the earlier reports of being contagious long before symptoms show up,which means you can have it and spread it and have no idea for apparently weeks.
