This isn't crucial at the moment but something to keep in mind. If at all possible get a loan with property taxes and homeowners insurance built in and paid from the escrow. And go with Farm Bureau or State Farm if possible. I think there may be 1 other carrier in TN that covers sinkhole damage/repairs in their basic policy but not sure. All other carriers will write it if requested in a Rider for an additional charge but has to be requested.Yep, this will be our first house. a lot of different loan types that can be a little confusing. A great friend of mine will be our agent and we will have to check out different lenders. My father has built homes for years so he will be a great source as far as inspecting houses goes before paying for an inspector.
The Moe’s in turkey creek is a dump. I drive a little further just to go to the Northshore one. Much much better. Not had Cabo Fresh. I love Moe's, part of what makes them so good for me is their Queso & their in-house hot sauce. They have a wider variety of toppings too, the biggest weakness of Chipotle (that and price). Chipotle has amazing guacamole, but it's outrageous what they charge.
Really Moe's is my favorite BUT there's only one anywhere near by and it's in Turkey Creek, thus Dos Bros which I can access far easier got the bump.
Let me know if you need help with the insurance. I’ll be that guy.Exactly what my realtor friend told me. Until we have the down payment we would be looking at houses in the area, what type they are, amenities they have, seeing how the sell, and then once time comes we would have a library of info to use for us.
I will have to keep that in mind, thanks. Because the area we are looking at has water around it. Water damage/poor foundation is something to really look at I'd assume.

The wife and I bought a nice lot we built on and started noticing some major cracks in the sheetrock in various rooms after 14 yrs had passed. After engineers and our adjuster investigated the issue, it was determined to be caused by "sinkhole activity". Thank goodness we had Farm Bureau! Total cost on our repair work outside and inside ended up being $86,000+. They covered every cent. A lot of folks just don't think about sinkhole activity in getting a homeowners policy.
I’d start looking at something in Montgomery Village or the greater Vestal areaCongrats, @Bassmaster_Vol on the new house. (a tad late in saying that)
I get to start that process soon and have no idea what I'm doing. Gonna throw something at the wall and hope it sticks (or at least makes it to the wall).
i think biggest thing is Cochran does not want to be strength coach anymore. Any coach can motivate who wants to do so. That is not against the rules.I'm late so probably already covered but..
For all you guys saying Cochran can't do this or that at Ga, exactly who in their weight room are you expecting to turn him in?
And if someone did tell, who exactly is going to punish them? The same SEC official making sure they don't cheat in recruiting?
