Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

most people don't realize that the CDC and WHO and others' BIGGEST concern is the Ebola outbreaks in Congo and other parts of Central Africa, they have been tracking those new strains for a year, and they worry the scientists and infection preventionists more than Corona.
I understand what you're saying but those susceptible to Ebola don't fly all over the world and especially5 million leave after it hits.

Not true. 60%+ alcohol works great vs almost all viruses. Many hospitals have gone almost-exclusively to hand sanitizer.

Well thank you for the correction. I figured they would call it disinfectant rather than sanitizer, but good to know. I always keep a bottle in my car.

If this thing is airborne, will any amount of hand-washing make much of a difference if you come into contact with someone who has the virus?

We don't hear about Ebola on the mews though do we? Ebola has been active in the Congo for a while. Hot zones are teaming over there.

The good sanitizer with lots of alcohol does well for quick cleaning jobs on the car windows, too. Small amounts of hand lotion help with windshield suction mounts. A couple of little things I picked up while on the road and needed a quick fix with what I had on hand. Keep a few microfiber towels in the car, too.

True, unless your are dealing with norovirus. Alcohol based hand sanitizer will NOT kill norovirus.
