Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

It still seems weird to me we have cases popping up here and there (around the globe), but outside of China, no widespread infection.

It's in North Korea already you just aren't hearing much about it much because it's North Korea. It's spreading in South Korea at a count now of 156 cases.

Right now we have the resources to deal with the small number of infected people and place them in quarantine. If we saw this thing climb into the thousands, it would overwhelm our hospitals pretty quickly and that’s when the real problems would start.

Agreed if 300 people a day started dying in Atlanta for example the hospitals and staff would be easily overwhelmed. We do know that this virus spreads like wildfire among large groups of people and it only takes one infected person to spread it around.

And who does that fall on? Are you incapable of criticizing him? I am not saying I agree with you, on some of this I do, but you do know who has the power to make the decisions you are asking for right? Call it what it is. You don’t like his handling of it.
The airlines? No one is putting a gun to their head and making them fly. It's not the presidents job, or the governments, to dictate how a business operates.

Is this thing still trending that this is a manufactured virus by the Chinese? Is this linked to the Harvard professor arrested with links to china?

It’s crazy how fast this moved in Iran. 18 cases and 4 deaths and the health ministry is saying it is possible that it’s already in every city.

If you scroll back I was saying shutdown all air travel with them before February. There's many factors going in it that even you have mentioned like the economy, stock market and global market.

If he's making the decision it was very late and dangerous. If someone made it for him that's advising him it was late and dangerous.

I'd say if they think you have it in NK you're getting shot. It's why the count is zero but I've read it's everywhere there.

I agree but I would want to know I was about to get on a flying tube with 14 people that had coronavirus while breathing recirculated air.

Seems like we’re finally seeing an explosion of international cases now. Japan and South Korea’s numbers are jumping every day. It seems that Iran had a cluster develop and just now seeing that. Italy now seeing an almost hourly increase.

most people don't realize that the CDC and WHO and others' BIGGEST concern is the Ebola outbreaks in Congo and other parts of Central Africa, they have been tracking those new strains for a year, and they worry the scientists and infection preventionists more than Corona.
