I just dislike college basketball in general. This group, besides Vescovi, plays about the worst type of basketball possible.I don’t know, “kinda hate” was unfair. This is just a ragtag group of young guys and role players and as soon as Lamonte died this season was more or less over. Not a whole lot of on court leadership out there right now
Lamonte taking the next step and having a career year was our only hope.I don’t know, “kinda hate” was unfair. This is just a ragtag group of young guys and role players and as soon as Lamonte died this season was more or less over. Not a whole lot of on court leadership out there right now
Yep - I’ve said this before, but if the Astros were doing it, and teams knew the Astros were doing it and getting away with it, there’s a 100% chance similar strategies were used all over the league. The simplest explanation is that MLB knows or at least suspects that there’s widespread cheating (probably of various kinds) across the sport and the last thing they want to do is start any kind of real investigation when god knows what they’ll find. So the strategy was to go out and fire a couple of executives and yadda yadda yadda let’s all move on. Problem is that in the modern media environment it would take a David Stern-level bullshltter to successfully pull off the yadda yadda part, and Manfred’s nowhere near up to it.
