Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Here is some hope...

American Rebecca Fraser who tested positive on the Diamond Princess cruise on February 7th and was moved to a Japanese hospital for quarantine is doing great. She initially had a light cough and maybe a low grade fever at one point but that has since subsided. She is still testing positive for Covid-19 so she has to remain in the hospital until she tests negative.

The further away from the mainland it seems to be less virulent. That is what I'm seeing and that is good news for other countries.
We've had 40 deaths from flu/pneumonia in Virginia according to the cdc. They parse flu with pneumonia stats, that is a questionable practice.

Neil Ferguson is saying China is only testing those with travel history to Wuhan/Hubei province for the rest of the mainland. I hadn't heard that before and might explain why the rest of the country seeing the amount of cases as Wuhan?

I love the constant contradictory moves by this POS communist cesspool.

Everyone must stay inside their home. Plus we are going to start all these new processes to kill the virus. They dont realize this takes people in motion to do these things. It is hilariously keystone cops. Too bad it will cost so many lives.

I saw an interesting factoid on the news today. Apparently the exotic bats, monkey's and honey badger market is just a few miles away from China's one and only infectious disease center. They MSM claims that the disease started in the market but I'll betcha a dollar the bastards have let loose something they didn't mean too.

The real question now is how much time has elapsed between it initially being spread and the authorities getting serious about stopping it.

If the first infections occurred in November, then that would mean, what, close to 2 months went by? I suppose it depends on when you deem authorities "got serious" about stopping it. Probably the day they decided to quarantine Wuhan.

I bet thise virus spread so quickly, lack of sanitation, densely populated area

I heard part of Tom Cotton's interview on Sunday Morning Futures this morning and he stated flatly that the virus did NOT originate in the market. He also stated that the possibility that it originated and/or escaped from a Chinese research lab in Wuhan has yet to be proven or disproven. The ChiComs are still not allowing the best virus hunters in the world (our own experts from the CDC) access to all the data or entry into China to assist.

It came from the lab. With Chinese newspapers now saying that’s a possibility (they don’t say anything without government approval, this is China’s way of getting out in front of the blame before the West can officially show this is a bioweapon.

Well dang, and it looks like they had almost perfected it.
