Official Gramps' Memorial Eternal OT Thread

We have an American pit which wandered on our property about a year ago. Were there any indications in the situations before the sweet pit went nuts?
Not that I know of. A friend of my sister’s son had moved back in with her along with his pit. They’d been there around six months so she wasn’t a stranger to the dog. One day she sneezed and something about that triggered it... it mauled her.... nearly lost both hands.... messed up her face.

A good friend of mine growing up had two. They were always well behaved and good with people. One day when he let them out they jumped the fence in the backyard and ripped the neighbor’s dog to pieces

Watching the last 10 laps in this NASCAR race Busch Clash at Daytona raceway.
They just had a nice little crash w/about 4 to go. The car's engines sound good. I haven't heard in awhile.

NASCAR has been in "Overtime" to finish this race for at least 45 minutes but the drivers keep wrecking. They only have to go around for one lap & they can't seem to be able to do that......LOL.

The “Clash” lived up to its name today 😂 Jones’s car was completely torn up when he crossed the finish line to win it.

We? Were you working in the pits today for the #20 car? Btw, Jeff Gordon said we was glad not to be in the field of drivers today. They were one crazy group of drivers today. Going 190 mph & wrecking sounds fun.

jesus. I guess those dogs are great dogs until they suddenly and without warning become not great dogs.

@marcusluvsvols you guys operate in the Charolette NC market right? Do you do condos? I know you do apts but not sure if you have crossed that evil bridge. Got a potential project. But owner cant find a contractor who will do a condo project to approve our phase of work.

I was at a dog park last summer and out of the blue a guys pit bull attacked a great dane and tore it up pretty good. I love dogs, but pit bulls are okay until they're not and they have the jaw power to kill a more docile pet quickly. I've noticed that my dog pretty much steers clear of bull dogs of all types at the park.

I have witnessed labs tearing up other dogs and domesticated pets. I have german Shepard's. I could go down a long list of stuff I have seen non pits do.

Other dogs do attack but the probability a pit causes severe injury or death is a lot higher. My cousin’s daughter was bitten in the face by one at her in laws house, she lost some teeth and will most likely have to have reconstructive surgery to fix her face. Had her two year old brother been in the room he could be dead. I don’t get why anyone would want a dog with a head bigger than a paint bucket but that’s just me.

They dont all have heads that big. But, to your point, the bite is incredibly strong.

So apparently bc of the Earths gravitational force you can do this today:

Edit:

Damn NASA and their trolling. Real picture but apparently I fell for fake news. You can do it any day.

Because sometimes, everyone else turns them away and you might be their only shot at a second chance.

Yep. Pitbulls account for 66% of all dog related fatal attacks in the US, while only being 6.5% of the total US dog population.

Pitbulls are freakin dangerous, like a ticking time bomb. You never know when they'll go ballistic and attack someone.

Pitbulls are dangerous but if you take a look at the average pitbull owner I think you can see why.

They are guilty of having the worst owners. Properly socializing an inherent guard dog takes a lot of time and a lot of work. Most people just get them for nefarious purposes.

Agreed.

Pitbulls with the right owners can be good dogs, wouldn't have one around small kids but other than that they can be good dogs.
