The Official Tennessee vs. Texas A&M Game Thread, 6:30 PM ET, SEC Network

Santiago starts taking care of the ball & James gets worse.

Youth & a lack of a truly elite dribbler hurts us. Turner & Bone would have this team 3-4 more wins.

Barnes went after ref Nance at end of game. Nance has it out for Barnes for whole game. Not sure what the background is, but CRB was upset.
hey, this is my 10,000th post
Those refs need to go play catch in a minefield. We didn't play great but some of those calls were either wildly incompetent or corrupt.

I watched the same game. I saw a team that out positioned and muscled for rebounds. How many did UT fumble out of bounds?
This is what I saw as well, Fulkerson was out of position in the worst possible place for rebounds, under the basket, all night. You're not going to get calls there. He's got to be more physical rebounding and boxing out, hell foul for all I care but show some rebounding presence.

Bad loss. Just a small margin of error with this squad unless everyone plays well and rebounding obviously killed us. Much it is simply self inflicted. Almost half our FG attempts were 3 pointers which just isn’t how this squad should play. Need at least 4 (maybe 5) more wins to get to NIT and that will be difficult. Our depth is getting worse as the year progresses unfortunately.

Refs, blah, blah, blah Refs...Barnes obviously didn’t teach them to box out....but Refs Refs Refs....yawn

I wonder if Fulmer thinks UT is getting their 💰 worth🤔, especially after that stunt🙄

I saw him get beat a lot because of a lot of 1 v 3s in the paint due to help and switching causing him to be out of position. Pons should get more than 3 rebounds a game though, he has the athleticism to get at least 5 and it’s kind of rare for him to get that; it’s not even his average and he plays a lot. We need more from him.

Vescovi cleans up the turnovers and shoots the 3 a little better and he could be good.

I'm just not impressed with Fulkerson. He's better as the spunky bench player that provides a spark then an integral front court player. Just gets shoved around too much.

James is taking on too much of a workload by necessity .Think it'll pay off next season for him though.

Beyond those 3, no idea what the rest of these guys can offer for next season.

He needs to get quicker, more time in the offense will help as will a full off-season camp. The 3 ball looks bad because he can’t separate and teams crowd him when he curls out.

JJJ’s lack of improvement is concerning. His defense seems to be lacking also.

He definitely gets himself outta position & seems lazy on resetting. If he sags inside to help his man has a free jumper, every time.

Often he was late switching it just slow to switch, this team switches horribly. Has been a problem most games and the better teams we've played have killed us with it too.

I was just using Fulkerson as an example though, he did not give us the worst effort rebounding by far but we must have him be more of a presence moving forward

You can't watch that video of Nance bumping into Barnes and believe he didn't have it out for us tonight. Unbelievable.
Yeah, gonna say I don’t really look like a fool tonight. Mad? Definitely. A fool? Eh, not that much.

This was like Braves’ outfield fly rule bad, it was pretty bad, despite us not rebounding well.
