I do because it ends up hurting schools more than the kid.
So if a school opts out and refuses to honor a NLI then how does that hurt the school more than the student. I am not referring to a situation where a player wants out and the school lets him I am speaking of a scholl that gets cold feet and does not honor one.

its not like he’s just gonna give it away and say oh yeah I’m committed here. He’s doing what any recruit should, be recruited and enjoy the process. For us to be even considered with a top flight recruit is a big deal. It’s good pub for Tennessee either way. Sheesh you bunch of negative Nancies

Welcome to us sunshine pumpers world. :)

By definition, yes every staff fails every year at recruiting. But this would be one that stands out, not sure how you could fail at selling our oline to a RB at this point.

He signed with Georgia once.

Not sure how it’s a failure if we wasn’t the favorite to begin with.

Failure = not accomplishing something. Him not coming here = not accomplishing something therefore = failure. I'm not saying that would mean our class as a whole is a failure, couldn't disagree more. I think our class is pretty solid all things considered and as a whole the staff succeeded overall.
