Meh, over the last 12 years, they really have been RB U. Moreno, Gurley, Chubb, Michel and now Swift. With that and how well they are recruiting offensive linemen, it's understandable why he would prefer them. Sure, they spurned him once, but we don't know everything that's happened. He might be able to overlook that. I will be shocked if this kid ends up playing for Tennessee.

Lots of bad blood was reported after the initial split, so him going back to UGA would seem fishy to me. That's not to say we'll get him, but it would seem strange for him to go back to UGA without something in play.

I think if the school opts out they should be able to sign another. In no way if the player asks out should they be able to sign another in my opinion.

Idk if I ever said they didn’t matter. I have said I don’t read them anymore. Read this one because of the significance. 95% of the time they sound like theyre pandering to the fan base. And they all say about the same stuff - likes the staff, keeps it real, staff likes X about their game etc.

its not like he’s just gonna give it away and say oh yeah I’m committed here. He’s doing what any recruit should, be recruited and enjoy the process. For us to be even considered with a top flight recruit is a big deal. It’s good pub for Tennessee either way. Sheesh you bunch of negative Nancies

So we read our coaching staff are straight shooters. So maybe some recruits don’t want to hear, “We can’t promise that you will start but we can promise if you work hard you will play.” And maybe they told him what’s expected and he’s not sure it’s for him. It won’t make or break this class.
