Still a lot of basketball to play but Fulky's currently hitting @ a .664 clip. In 18 games, he's shot under .500 just twice.

SEASON (MIN. 200 ATT.)
  1. .654 Dale Ellis (257-393) - 1981-82
  2. .645 Reggie Johnson (131-203) - 1976-77
  3. .622 Bernard King (273-439) - 1974-75
  4. .6013 Rob Jones (181-301) - 1984-85
  5. .6012 Dale Ellis (279-464) - 1982-83
  6. .597 Dale Ellis (215-360) - 1980-81
  7. .589 Isiah Victor (126-214) - 1998-99
  8. .587 Reggie Johnson (286-487) - 1978-79
  9. .580 Rob Jones (127-219) - 1985-86
  10. .578 Bernard King (278-481) - 1976-77

Alexander should have taken a few more shots last year.

I know he shot around 62%....but must not have shot 200 times.

Fulky should reach 200 attempts by the end of the regular season. Hopefully

As it stands right now Fulkerson “would” get around 210 shots for the season.

This does not include anything in the post season. If Tennessee plays more than one game in the SEC tournament I feel confident in saying he will reach at least 200 shot attempts for the season......unless something unexpected happens.

I mean he should make it in the regular season.....so two or more extra games will almost certainly do it.....if he hadn’t already.

You have to remember, most of those on the list played before there was a three point line. They didn't implement that until the mid/late-80's.
I have to think that DeVoe would have used Dale Ellis much differently if there had been a 3 point line in the early 80's. Most of his attempts came in the paint at Tennessee. While he was with Seattle from '87-'90, he was one of the best 3 point shooters in the NBA.

I guarantee that. You are dead on. No need to show his range when no one could block that "left hand swipe, right hand shoot" shot of his. Do you remember Micheal Brooks? Had there been a three point line when he played he would have had a field day. couldn't hit a layup a lot of the time, but was deadly from the top of the key.

Oh yeah, Brooks lit up Kentucky for 34 points in January of 1985 at Stokely. Most of his shots were from the top of the key and well beyond where the 3 point line would be today.
