Virginia, MLK day, Accelerationists, Trump, GOP

What is your take on it? I didn't see the entire documentary but I was enough to know the Weaver's believe they were misled by the government which I agree they were. The FBI handled this poorly no doubt but I saw the actual footage where all the Weavers at some point strutted around the property with shotguns. Sadly, anything can go wrong and you are asking for it.

We talk all the time about getting stopped by the police. The wisest thing you can do is not act like an a$$hole at that time.

A warrant was issued against Randy Weaver and he dug in with shotguns. I missed the part about how the wife was killed but the guy put them in harm's way - period then kept her dead in the house for several days because the entire thing was out of control.

Actually they were wrong on the initial charges and the courts messed up sending him when his hearing was. Instead of calling him, the ATF who was trying to use him as a witness against someone else snuck onto his property in fatigues And masks. They came upon him, his friend and his son walking back from hunting and shot at them and their dog and they returned fire. The FBI/ATF was clearly in the wrong and even stated so in their own memos saying the charges were “bullsh*t” and that’s why they had to pay out $$$$$ to him

I didn't know I should be fussing about that in this thread. Where did they touch you?
Where did gun owners touch you? I'm kinda leaning towards you were the kid growing up that all the girls could outshoot you, and you got bullied for it.

Good job only reading half of what I've written and totally whiffing on my actual stance. There seems to be a pernicious illness here that causes people to automatically assume liberal status upon any disagreement. Interesting.

Here's the fullness of my stance. I look forward to the coming evisceration:
You want guns? Have at them.
You want ammo? Have at it.
You want to gift guns and ammo? That's your call so long as the recipient passes their background check.
Universal background checks for all purchases.
History of documented self harm, convicted domestic abuse, or convicted felony behavior involving a weapon? Sorry, you're off the list.
Increased penalties for an individual's weapon being used in another person's commission of a crime or fatal accident - gun safe home insurance riders, consider increase in penalty from misdemeanor to felony.
More publicization / appreciation of and funding for police and government task forces getting guns out of criminal hands and locating and shutting down the pipelines supplying them.
NRA, 4H, and Scouting double down on positive outreach to children and teens, greater access to training classes and sport shooting opportunities.

See? I'm not your standard anything. I don't fit any mold. In this case, I especially don't fit the left mold.
Everything except the dumb insurance idea and the gifting already exists

I personally think you are just mad from getting smacked around in that other thread so badly and came here to troll the 2a people . I’m giving you the benefit of the doubt of you not believing all the crap you spew .
What other thread, lilreb? Again with your dishonesty.

Yep they killed pigs to maximize farmers profits by manipulating the supply when the demand was low.

Thanks for the reminder, but I thought the dog heard a noise and they thought it was food but it was the ATF/FBI? Doesn't matter. They will still surveilled roaming the property like they expected a shootout with law enforcement. We can agree to disagree though.

AOC has lost her mind.
1. The Washington Examiner is a Demo’s playbook
2. They got the actual numbers wrong, it wasn’t 20,000. It was more like 300,000 thousand people there.
3. There were cops everywhere according to a my friends that were there, and they said that there were at least 10 snipers that they counted on the rooftops.
4. There were state police everywhere patrolling on bicycles, foot, and horses, and and other things to disperse the crowd.

5. They had barriers set up, Water hoses in place, and it looked like the smoke shooting canons.
6. Overall, it was a great day for the patriots, Trump, and a huge win for America.

If there is one thing that Governor Northam has accomplished with his minions, is that he has united a front together. He has brought together today what you call a very diverse community/universe together today. He has united black and white, Jews and protestants and catholic, blue and white collars in which it would’ve been hard to do into a common goal. He has united the Virginian community, but furthermore he has united more of the country not seen since 9/11. I haven’t seen this kind of unity since 9/11, and other people has said it as well. Power to the people of this country.

Universal background checks for all purchases. I'm sure criminals will purchase firearms where a background check is required. They'll purchase guns on the street, like people purchase drugs. I don't mind background checks. I've said I'll trade that for removing supressors from the FFA.
History of documented self harm, convicted domestic abuse, or convicted felony behavior involving a weapon? Sorry, you're off the list. Already in place.
Increased penalties for an individual's weapon being used in another person's commission of a crime or fatal accident - gun safe home insurance riders, consider increase in penalty from misdemeanor to felony. You gonna extend that to vehicles? If your car is stolen and used in a bank robbery does that fall back to You? All vehicles should be in garages? What about a ski mask? If they rob your home and steal a ski mask and use it in a crime does that mean you get a felony? How about let's hold criminals accountable for the crimes they commit?
More publicization / appreciation of and funding for police and government task forces getting guns out of criminal hands and locating and shutting down the pipelines supplying them. What pipe line are you speaking of? Are you talking about the criminal bastions of liberal cities such as Chicago? Why do you think gun crime is highest in liberal controlled urban areas like Chicago? Is that the fault of suburban/rural conservative municipalities? Why don't you liberals get your own houses in order before you start passing unconstitutional laws that affect generally speaking law abiding citizens in rural communities. As to pipeline, maybe your talking about weapons crossing our southern border. Are you suggesting we build a wall?
NRA, 4H, and Scouting double down on positive outreach to children and teens, greater access to training classes and sport shooting opportunities. Lol are you suggesting the NRA expanding the Eddie the eagle program that teaches young folks about firearms and How they should not touch but tell an adult immediately? The same NRA that's labeled a terrorist organization by the main stream media?

See? I'm not your standard anything. I don't fit any mold. In this case, I especially don't fit the left mold. Yes you are the standard anything. There are all the laws in place that are needed. They just need to be enforced. None of the 2nd amendment infringement laws proposed by the Virginia governor would do one thing to prevent a bad person from hurting people. That's the problem with you people, you focus on the tool rather than the one holding the tool. Until you get it through your thick skulls that passing laws against law abiding citizens does nothing but give some false sense of security you'll never fix anything. All the measures you mention will be great until the next bad person does something bad then you'll be looking at other freedom intrusions all in the name of making you feel safer. With each infrigment you become less free. Give me freedom, I'll take on the responsibility of making sure me and my family are safe.

Any reports of violence, shooting, or intimidation by the 2A supporters from the gathering yesterday?

The Washington Examiner is a conservative publication, Sherlock.

Why do think think I am in favor of the gun control? I have a shotgun, a rifle and a pistol. I am in favor of background checks. Are you?

Well, if you own firearms and purchased them through legal channels then you know we already have background checks.

How about the Dems work on getting the current law to function correctly, by addressing the lack of reporting into the data base from the local level upwards, instead of trying to pass something new and more restrictive.
