Anybody that puts hands on a cop deserves whatever happens next. I don't blame guys for telling them off, or standing their ground when they have done nothing wrong, but if you put hands on them you deserve what you get...just because you are an effin moron.

well just listened to the Friday vq podcast...

just swinging with Jay Hardy at this point, price maintains that if he doesn't visit here or if we don't get an in home in the next week or so, it ain't happening....confidence has certainly waned here, and there's all kinds of questions as to why he's continued to string this thing along, when as little as a week ago, he was coming up this weekend and was open to listening to the staff....rodney garner strikes again?

Beckwith, still relatively confident here. acknowledges that he likes the way UF is after him, but price still maintains that ut is in a good spot, and that getting him here for sunday/monday OV this weekend is big since there's no school on Monday....more quality time here than he'll get @ FL next weekend. not a slam dunk tho...

not sure what to think about Spencer, no offer yet. will wait to see if he gets one this weekend....

didn't really say much on Wideman? i'm not sure what to think here. they did say that Norvell is in a similar perdicament as Pruitt was in year 1....so can Norvell hold on to him or is he really looking for greener pastures?

mentioned that for guys like Caldwell and WIllis, holding out may work out for guys like that as folks have these few spots left....and both of those guys ahve seen late offers come their way...

Simonton doesn't think there's much to the Edomond recruitment, except that he's a position of need....

oh, and bball team just isn't that good and they were all wrong on their outlooks for most of the players this season. lol.

VQ staff has turned heel. They’re all negavols now.

GoVols247 takes a look at some of the Vols' current options at quarterback in the 2021 class, including all six of their targets who remain uncommitted and one high-priority target they haven't stopped pursuing since he committed to another school several months ago.

BROCK VANDAGRIFF

A five-star prospect from Prince Avenue Christian School in Bogart, Ga., Vandagriff is ranked the No. 8 overall prospect and No. 1 pro-style quarterback in the 2021 class, according to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite. He was committed to Oklahoma for months before parting ways with the Sooners on Jan. 1, citing a desire to attend a school that's closer to home. He's now expected to end up at a school in the Southeast, most likely in the SEC, with nearby Georgia, Florida, Auburn and Tennessee all in the running. He has visited the Vols at least a few times in the past, and his father, Prince Avenue Christian coach Greg Vandagriff, is a Knoxville native who went to Halls High School.

His father even has bought Tennessee football season tickets for years, although he seldom makes it to Knoxville for games these days. The younger Vandagriff landed an offer from the Vols in June 2018 after a strong showing at one of their camps. All five predictions on the 247Sports Crystal Ball still point to Oklahoma as the favorite to land Vandagriff, but Georgia and Florida now are believed to be among the top contenders for him.

Could be an interesting recruitment!

I can only suggest checking out a comedy club out there. We've always gotten a great value out of shows. Each time we've been to visit my sister we've been shocked at all the guests that would appear. Tom Arnold was a surprise one time at the Laugh Factory.

Another time we went to see a group of 3 big comedians (plus a few openers)...then as we are ready to go, here comes Judd Apatow as a surprise guest. He goes a good 30 mins and we thought, "wow, what a show". Just then, we hear a scream from the audience and Dane Cook comes running up from the crowd to do a set. Not even guys we came to see, but it really put the show over the top. Not unusual for shows in LA I take it.
Speaking of which, to the Chattanooga area peeps, Dusty Slay is at the Comedy Catch this weekend. I saw him last year and thought he was really good.

OBJ is an idiot and shouldn't have done it but the cop was in a locker room during a freaking celebration and was looking for reasons to harass the players.

His bosses should have used it as a teaching moment on when/when not to exercise authority and just left it at that.

Talk to a prison guard sometime if you want to find out what happens to officers that are inflexible based on the situation. Just because you legally can harass someone doesn't mean that you should.
Nope. OBJ is just plain selfish.

Can’t believe he didn’t drop the news of new UGA OC hire before everyone else. Especially after he just doubled down on Coleys greatness as an OC.
that thought occurred to me as well.....lol.

looks like his team missed some intel somewhere along the lines...................................

As many of you know my mom is in the later stages of Alzheimer's. She's taken a turn for the worse in the last 3-4 weeks. She become lethargic and seems to be in a lot of pain. The hospice nurses think she has a urinary tract infection. She is also severely dehydrated. We've called an ambulance to transport her to the hospital. Please keep her and my family in your prayers if you do that sort of thing.
Prayers my friend
