My one minor run-in with Superdome security guards (warning, it's not exactly a gripping tale):

When I was 15 I was in New Orleans on a high school trip. A few friends and I on some free time had walked to the dome to take a tour and found it too pricey, but in the restroom cubby area off the lobby I found an unlocked door to a stairway going down. After a little careful exploring we eventually emerged out of a tunnel onto the floor of the Superdome. It was awesome. It wasn't turfed but had a boxing or wrestling ring set up with seating all around. We took some pics, looked around, and nobody paid us any attention.

Afterward though, we were walking in the long corridor behind the stands trying to find our way out and a maintenance guy apparently called security on us. All they did was escort us out but they put on tough guy acts and tried to intimidate us. They may have just been mad at us for being amused by the whole thing. But I remember as they were pushing us out the exit door, one of them said, "I don't want to ever see you come back here again." I was thinking, don't ever come back to the Superdome? How the hell would he even know?

(1) Let them enjoy the moment. Unless there's stacks of coke, cash, and prostitutes...c'mon man, jusssst....no.
(2) OBJ...don't give AF who you are, don't put hands on me. Escort him to somewhere private and explain to him in a very succinct manner--don't do that. Ever. That's all, go enjoy your team's moment.
(3) Warrant for assault?? PETTY.

Still hopeful we can make the tourney, but if not, it's only going to be a short blip on an otherwise loaded radar.

Not many teams can lose 4 of their 5 starters to the NFL and expect to just reload the following year. Only the hand full of blue bloods can do that. I fully expected an average team this year but I also thought we had 2 really solid senior guards. That was a big NO.

Or he's just a normal guy trying to do his job.

I've never seen a college BB team lose more than one starter to the NFL. Sounds like a real physical team. Probably a monster on the boards, but I'm guessing the shooting was atrocious.

The offense you're seeing in our games is not what they practice between games. Barnes is at a loss for why they jack up 20-25 three pointers every game. He didn't just forget how to coach this year. He just can't seem to light a fire under this team. As for just playing freshmen and benching the starters, it may come to that before the season ends. Next year we have plenty of offense coming in but it's gonna be rough because we'll be so young.
