BREAKING NEWS: Jimmy gon' Jimmy

The nice thing is Jennings is likely working on his 40 right now. He shows up and runs 4.5s or faster...he'll easily get drafted, I'm not sure I buy he goes in the 1st UNLESS he has a fantastic combine (which I expect he gets invited to if he's being projected in the 1st round).

I think at least 4 Vols get drafted. Be nice if more went, but I think between Jennings, Callaway, Warrior, Taylor, Bituli, & DWA we'll see 4 drafted.

Depending on combine/pro day results who knows what order. I feel like production wise Jennings, Warrior, Bituli would be the first 3 taken, but with DWA's size/speed and position he could be a very sought after pick. Then Taylor being an edge rusher with his size, if he runs fast he'll climb on most boards.

Callaway I think might need to really impress to hear his name though. Just never had great production unfortunately, but hopefully teams trust the tape on him and realize he didn't have Burrow slinging him the rock either....

Wonder if any more names for this class pop up after the dead period ends? Seems odd to me that Hardy, Beckwith, and Wideman would be the only ones left on our board with the unsigned players that are still out there.

whilie i think Warrior did himeslef a lot of favors the 2nd half of the season.....that's kind of hte problem...it's one half of one season's worth of production.

Eh we as UT fans are (as normal) overly critical of Warrior.

What I expect most NFL scouts see in Warrior is a 3 year starter that amassed 229 tackles and 5 ints (even returning 1 for a TD), he's got great size, was groomed by 2 of the most impressive secondary coaches in college football and then likely runs pretty fast.

Delpit played 40 games to Warrior's 41 (although Warrior's first 5 weren't as a starter), and amassed 199 tackles with 8 ints

I'm by no means saying Warrior goes early, but he'll get drafted I believe.

Warrior is pick worthy as a run stopper, I've never questioned his hitting or tackling ever but his coverage and the angles he takes to try to run down receivers at times I feel have been suspect

Those things go hand in hand though. If you're close to the LOS to support the run, you're going to find yourself outta position in coverage with poor angles of pursuit.

He could for sure become a Nickel guy in the NFL, dude isn't small and is stout. He just needs to clock fast, which he should being coming outta HS he was 4.4-4.5s type guy. Plenty good enough.

Also in verifying Warrior's HS 40 times I found JG's Elite 11 profile information....ran a 4.65 and had a 37.5" vertical. The overall one liner was "great talent that's undeveloped" walks into a Butch program with no QB coach his first 3 seasons...smh

Whether JG runs that or not he literally is the least agile runner I think I have ever seen, Peyton changed direction faster than JG, and I can see your point on Warrior, I wasn't trying to rag just stating what I think about him from what I've seen, I also think he will get picked sometime in Rounds 4-7
