Except they M. Night Showmydong'd the ending of it...

Sometimes these big Hollywood films seem dead set on making an ending, even if it's a bad one. Like you can leave some stuff up for debate we don't have to see the monster, we don't have to know why Aliens are invading etc.
i didn't mind it.

You are making the mistake and thinking that there are not qualified black business people that are not former players...that can be great GMs🤔

Don’t strawman it with this “immeasurably list”...that’s 101 out of their book..page 12🦉

I pointed out a flawed implication in someone else's comment. I didn't share my opinion on the matter. No mistake to be had.

Great...as soon as you do turn that corner, we're gonna start a 50k like club.....and rub it in @Sleegro, @bignewt and @Glitch 's face. i don't know what we're gonna have on the menu yet....but it'll be better than @frank 's bbq. bet.

wait, how many likes do they have again?
Boom!! You got 51,000

Super 8 was a great movie until they showed the monster.

From what I've gathered in reading this board for the last 10 years, opinions have always been facts.

Respect my decision.

If you disagree with me yer dumb.

This is true. The problem comes when people start spewing erroneous facts out of their rear end and pollute the board with their stupid facts.

Yeah, I wonder what his stats would have looked like had we not had an insane running game to pair with the passing attack.
True though just a different era of offenses. I'd like to see him in a wide open offense with the offensive rules of today.

Oh snap, y'all...
50,000 "likes" tonight or tomorrow. Further validation that I have no life!!!

Now, as long as I don't do anything weird to kill my momentum.. not sure how

I remember when I reached 50,000 likes...the first time. Lost 15,000 and yada yada yada 30,000 likes later...

The week before I went to see Rise of Skywalker, I decided to rewatch every Star Wars movie. Last Jedi was better than every one of them other than Empire Strikes Back and Rogue 1. Those are facts. Star Wars nerds be like, "but but but Luke would never do that, blah blah blah." It was a fantastic movie. As far as objective failure, that is just false. These ratings seem to indicate much better than failure.

Being a Star Wars fanboy, I can tell you that arguing about Last Jedi is like arguing about politics. People either really liked it or really hated it, and no matter how many good points you make you will not change their opinion.

Signs OR The Happening are probably my two least favorite "reveal" moments in films. Still like both movies, and I love 10 Cloverfield Lane, but it's a trend in mainstream features that you always give that "happy" ending.

Lowest audience score of any Star Wars movie by a mile.

It's internally and externally illogical at many points, even in the main themes it puts forth. It breaks in-universe convention to the detriment of all other films and stories. It relies heavily on tired tropes to advance it's plot, despite calling itself "fresh." It congratulates itself for tiny "victories" while ignoring much larger issues. And it did absolutely nothing to set up the last film.

The illogical bit covers a whole bunch of problems with the movie. And all that without even touching on the lack of understanding of Luke's well-established narrative in episodes IV through VI, as you helped mention.

I can tell you're into the sad Star Wars movies, and that's OK, but you can do so much better than Last Jedi. It does look pretty at times. I'll give you that.
