I usually ask everybody this when they leave the program. In five years, where is Tennessee’s program?
Probably in less than five years, they’ll be a Playoff contender. I think it’ll be less than five years. They’re doing such a good job recruiting and you’re getting some really good kids in there and trying to own the state. I thought we did a really good job of that this year. I know they’re trying to do that with the next signing class. If you continue to get the best kids out of your state, you’re going to be successful. And I think that’s what they’ll do, be on that path trying to win it all.

We should know those dates by heart, since we have been involved in so many coaching searches over the last decade. However, there will be no HC searches this decade...DECADE OF THE VOLS (and Pruitt)!!!!

Didn’t he basically suck for a good portion of his career? I seem to remember seeing a show about his career, maybe one of the NFL Networks America’s Game episodes, and they talked about how bad he was and the fans hated him and for years suggested he had a learning disability or something, which he took quite personally.

...but he has 4 rings
