Basilio’s b-ball post game show had a cool tidbit of info today. When we were working on getting Vescovi into school another team became aware of him and his skills. They contacted Vescovi and tried to get him to delay his enrollment at UT and wait to sign in April. He told them “I gave Tennessee my word I was coming” and he turned them down. That school was Gonzaga.

Not surprised. They’ve had a lot of success with overseas talent.

Pretty bold of him to be talking like that when his Offense Philosophy (This year) is the issue...you can’t keep playing basketball like you’ve got Grant,Admiral and Kyle still on the team...Faulky needs to be on the block he’s better facing the basket, not with his back towards it.Pember same thing..Vescovi,Bowden,Gains and Pons all shoot the 3 well enough to be deep threats but they are Rhythm shooters..Barnes needs to be playing a up tempo offense moving the ball around from the inside out,Not outside in offense.this years team is a shooting threat when hot,not a post up threat like we were last year and years before.Until Barnes realizes that and adapts to this year’s weapons, the product you are currently seeing now will be the product all year untill he manages to get better post players.Faulky and pember are better in (clean up roles) or trash points and in that sense they will get theirs..but Barnes needs to get his shooters going otherwise it’s just s stagnant standing around waiting for someone to shoot the ball offense.

I just don’t think this is so easy. We can’t play uptempo because we haven’t been able to get stops or we just haven’t hit shots inntransition. In the games that I’ve watched, we have missed many open shots, especially against Memphis.

I actually think we need to get it to Pons more on the post. He’s got a very nice 8-10 footer that he can rise up over the defender.

Right now, we just have a youth and talent problem. Bowden isn’t getting us at least 12+ points, and you can’t rely on Gaines, JJ, Pember, and ON to play well every game.

Random: What gets lost in the “dez caught it” debate is that it probably didn’t even matter.

Even if they ruled it a catch and even if Dallas went on to take the lead.... there was still 3-4 min left in the game and Aaron Rodgers has a long history of winning vs Dallas late. He and Davonta Adams were on fire that second half. All they would’ve needed was a field goal and with 3+ minutes, at home, there is no way they wouldn’t have won the game.

Cowboys fans are so whiney and delusional.

Not delusional because it clearly changes the way that game is played. I can recognize that Rodgers could have still won. But any other fan base would be the same way, just like the Saints last year. Speaking of, they have gotten a bit whiney.

I've been out of school a while. But, how does Baltimore have the 2nd ranked offense in the league by having no.1 rushing offense and no.27 passing offense?
