Just as important was the fact that it was also while FL and GA were down. Sometimes I think we missed our chance for a while. Very very hard to compete with those two schools when they are pulling in elite classes and have big momentum like they do these days.
Florida and Georgia both won 10 games that year lol

800 and 8 as a rookie with harbaugh may have been his most impressive year 😂😂
Didn’t make him a Pro Bowler tho. 😏 That might’ve been Harbaugh’s best work towards the end of his career...Captain Comeback?

Houston was the only home team that won in the wild card round. will be interesting in the next round as all the home teams should be favored.

I’m definitely in the camp that Manning has the edge over Brady for goat because Manning had to carry his teams more often. But I think the biggest difference was coaching, more so than the talent sharing the field with them. Outside of Dungy, Moore, and Wade Phillips, the coaching on most of Manning’s teams was subpar.

I think the advantage UGA and UF have over UT is you can build a top program faster there than you can here. If Pruitt took over at either one of those programs he would probably have them competing at a high level in his second year. At Tennessee I think it will take him a solid 4 or 5 years to really have us competing with the best of the best. Now once he’s there, I think the three programs are pretty much interchangeable. They’re all capable of the same things.

It was still a big time push off...it is literally the definition of pushing off..

He barely pushed him with a little wrist flick for what was actually touching the defender. If they start over turning plays like that with no more contact that was there then it is time to just move on from watching. I really think it was more fun and better without replay and having the human element. Now, with replay folks think they get screwed anyway so it is not solving anything. Also, think officiating would be better than it is because now they do not take it as seriously as far as getting in position and making definitive calls because they have replay to bail them out.

Can’t go back to no replay tho. The din of bisching is deafening.

Makes sense it would be a top priority, for RB specifically. Just how much can you really coach up RBs? I've heard of elite OL/DL/QB coaches...can't think of anyone designated the best RB coach out there.
Yep, RB Coaching for the most part is recruiting race horses and just lettin em run.

But this position coach will do a lot more than just recruit and coach RB’s. They’ll have responsibility for an entire region. They need to be an ace.

Critical to have an Elite recruiter in the RB Coach “position”. IMO.

Yeah, RB coaches are just basically recruiters. RBs just naturally know ball security. They really do not need to understand how to pick up blitzes or block at all. Catching the ball out of the back field and running routes is easy. Heck, we really do not need a RB coach

Schizophrenic chihuahua could teach running backs after one YouTube video.
